Even after having it for months, I still have to switch between this chair and a regular desk chair. As you will see in other people's reviews, the seat back is way too far back which forces you to hold your torso completely straight and with no assist from the chair. This chair is nice for a few hours at a time. It really helps my body to switch back and forth between the two styles of chairs. As others have said, your shins will hurt from this chair. The padding is good, but the padding covers/fabric easily stretch and become a little loose (again, only a few months of use). Overall, a good chair, but prob wouldn't have purchased for that much ($500) if I had gotten to try it first because you really still need a regular desk chair. Kind of a hassle to get in and out of.

Quality materials used in solid construction. Sturdy and Dependable. Easy to move with multiple rollers. Will fit an average to large person well. However, it could use some additional adjustments to enable shorter people to be more comfortable. I am short and use it every day and even though it could be a bit better, it is still better than the cheaper kneeling chair I had previously. I have adapted to this one and it is working out ok for me. The feature I like the most is the back rest. Not many kneeling chairs provide this and it is a wonderful advantage to have. Also, most kneeling chairs only role forward or backward, and this one will go in any direction. I have used a kneeling chair for over 20 years and this beats all the predecessors.

We all need a good desk chair, and this one fit the need very well. The good - it is solid. The base is so dang sturdy, there's no way it will get a dent. There are cars that have door panels thinner than the metal base here, no kidding. The great - it does force me to sit upright. Three months now and I have changed my posture habits. Prior to this purchase I had to go to the chiropractor twice a week for a couple of months. I knew it was my lousy office chair that was destroying my already bad back. Last year I got a new job that keeps me at a desk full time, something that my body just wasn't used to. And the old chair wasn't up to the task of me sitting eight to ten hours a day. I'm not large - 5'6', 125 lbs, so sitting for lengths of time usually is okay, if the chair is suited for the task. This one IS suited to it.The not so good - a vital bolt was missing, rendering the chair useless until a replacement bolt was shipped. A simple call to the customer service number, a quick explanation, and about four days later a small package arrived that contained the entire assembly pieces - all the bolts, caps, etc. It was overkill, but okay, I appreciated the response and was satisfied. The also not so good - the fabric on the kneeler pad bunches down. I know how to fix this, and it is a pity that the designers didn't do it themselves. The friction of kneeling on it all day forces the fabric down. Just like on any decent sofa or chair, there always is a second underlayer of fabric that allows the top layer to slide ever-so-slightly. This clearly does not have it. Because of the memory foam, the fabric actually catches itself on the foam and essentially gets stuck there. I can lift it up and move it back. Or, better, when the urge so moves me, I will remove the kneeling pad, dis-assemble it, put a layer of cloth under it, and then re-assemble it. Done. The really NOT good - the chair was not level, it leans to one side. I didn't quite notice it at first, maybe the first day or two, but then I was noticing a dull ache in my back that I knew was not from sitting straight up. I looked at the chair, and yep, it was leaning - and significantly so. However, my darling hubby is a mad genius of sorts, and took a stray piece of metal that was about the diameter of a small Post-It note and the thickness of a nickel, and shimmed it up under the base post on one side. Problem solved. It was leaning before, now it is upright. That little bit made all the difference. I think my chair was made on a Friday or a Monday and lacked the quality control that it should have had!Last, no, this chair is not for everyone, but it is a lifesaver for me. I have a terrible back. Three fractured vertebrae over twenty years ago on top of minor scoliosis and now arthritis in my spine has made my back really a mess. Finding a chair that will allow me to sit for hours and do my job was critical. And now I have to only visit the chiropractor once every six weeks or so instead of twice weekly. THAT makes this chair worth every single penny. But, it will take work to learn how to sit on this kind of chair!!! If you are a person who always slouches, forget it. You'll never get the benefit of this chair and you'll think this is terrible. I was willing to invest in my core, sit straight and work at it, and now I do love this chair. (Despite the missing bolt and the leaning to one side!)I almost never use the backrest. Once in a rare while I will lean back when I am taking a quick think break or something, but other than that, the back rest doesn't serve much purpose. However, it is nice to have from time to time - but leaning back to it is a rather awkward position.

I was looking for a kneeling chair on a swivel and this is really the only one i could find without having to order on an overseas website. This is a cheaply designed chair with no adjustment and is fairly small for the average person. My knees do not rest on the knee pad, more in between lower and upper shin. The seat angle is not adjustable and is at an angle to where gravity will slide you down if your knees or legs are not counteracting gravity either passively or actively. The chair base scuffs shoes pretty easily with a greyish metallic color. The knee base where you rest your knees is a relatively small area as well, I'm not a big guy and i have to keep my knees tucked inward or they will fall off and like i said earlier, my knees do not actually touch the knee rest unless you get into an inefficient and uncomfortable position. For a basic non adjustable kneeling chair, this is way too expensive. The only positive is it seems to be somewhat sturdy, but judging by the rest of the characteristics, i'm not trusting that either.. since i'm stuck with this chair, i will be making my own knee rest which will be larger in all dimensions and cost me more time and money..This may be great for you if you are of smaller than average size and fit the chair dimensions as is (..and also if you don't care about scuffing up your shoes).I really don't get how this chair could have good reviews unless you are a small framed individual.Shipping was fast though!!

the cushions on the seat and knee section compressed to where it was uncomfortable to use after 8 weeks. The memory foam cushions should last as long as the chair is warranted yet, I could not get Jobri to warrant the cushions.I am 6'4, 230# and 7% body fat. I spoke to Christina at Jobri corporate whom i quote "Also we have sold thousands of these chairs and not once have we had a customer complain they have compressed the cushions or are bottoming out. The owner weighs 230lbs and has never bottomed out the cushions or had any problems." end quote.my shoes have gotten all scuffed and cut up from my feet being underneath and resting on the chrome stand. If i sit too long, my legs get numb and now i find i may have a clot at the back of my knee from the poor ergonomic design. There are much better chairs out there. Ask any Professional Ergonomist.

I put everything together as the instructions indicated and the space between the seat and the kneeling cushion is very small. I am 6ft tall and it was too narrow and close together for my legs. I adjusted the kneeling cushion to be farther forward and screwed together with only two screws to give more space. I also removed the back cushion. Again, to fit my body on the seat and kneeling cushion, it had to be removed. For someone shorter than I am, the chair would work but I had to make these adjustments to make it fit me.I like the five point rolling base. I chose this chair specifically to have the rolling ability that conventional kneeling chairs don't have. This part works great.I like the height adjustment capability.

From necessity, I'm a long-time user of kneeling stools because I suffer from a trapped nerve. The makers have tried hard with this chair. It's very strong and looks professionally made, unlike traditional models which look like a woodworking project. Assembly is easy and everything fits.It has two huge advantages over traditional kneeling chairs. Firstly, the swivel action gives greater freedom of movement for desk work - and to turn round to speak to people! Secondly, the height can be adjusted without altering the angle between the seat and the knee pads, which is the big problem with traditional kneeling chairs. These advantages alone make this definitely the best chair to buy for office work. The seat and knee pad positions are fixed, so you just have to hope that they're right for you. I think they're okay for people of average build, but it would help to make the knee pad adjustable. The memory foam seat and knee pads are better than most kneeling chairs, but that isn't saying much. They feel fine for a few minutes, which I'm convinced is the longest that people who make these chairs try them for! Like all kneeling chairs, it is uncomfortable for long periods. For men, in particular, the seat and knee pads are simply not large enough. My wife keeps saying it looks too small for me, and it is. I completely fill the seat pad, and two inches of memory foam over a plywood base will quickly flatten under the weight of an adult male.Like all kneeling chairs, the knee pad is absurdly narrow. If you put your knees anywhere near the edges, they try to slide off as the foam compresses. So you have to sit with your knees together, but your feet splayed out at an angle to avoid the seat base. This is not comfortable.I have thrown the backrest away. Even when fully back, it restricted my movement and felt as if it was pushing me out to the chair. No doubt I shall do what I've done with others: throw away the seat and knee pads, and replace both plywood bases with larger ones. Then put deep, good quality cushions on them. Why can't makers produce a kneeling chair with the wide seat and deep, comfortable upholstery of an executive desk chair?? Realistically, I suppose there isn't the demand. I wouldn't use a kneeling chair if I didn't have to.Despite some shortcomings, I've given this a four star rating because at least they have tried to produce something different.
