I bought these for a rehearsal dinner. The small one was a good ice bucket size and the larger one was great for chilling wine. They looked nice on the table and were not heavy to move around. They stacked together so they were easy to transport and store. The scoops were a nice size as well.

They will hold a couple bottles of champagne or juice comfortably! They are classy and sturdy. Love them

One of the bins had a cracked handle when I opened the box. However, the bin handle is thick enough for use.

I suppose you could use them for beverages, but I use mine to hold hard rolls at our annual boil. They work perfectly to hold the rolls and pass them. Easy to reach into. Easy to wash up - by hand. I've used them for small punches. I've used them with ice and beverages too. Multi- use for sure! They are relatively thick for acrylic, but not super heavy. For me, they check all the boxes. Having said all of this, I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful. There is no way these fit two full size champagne bottles. They measure 11 inches x 7.5 inches at the widest point. The base is quite small. The photo is misleading. Otherwise they are well made.
