We ordered this as a gift for dear old friend of ours. He is single and lives alone. This boat is as mini as it could be, it is bath tub-able but not lake-able. This is good for its size it is fun in small pools and even in the tub. I was planning to take it to the community lake but it is too small for such an outing.

Fun boat, pretty easy to use except battery installation takes time. It zips around pretty good. Also small and easy to move around to water. Have a lake here but winter came and too chilly to run it anymore this season.

I've driven a lot of remote control road vehicles, and also little helicopters and drones, so I hoped this boat would be as fun as the others. Result: it is even more fun. It works great, and the controls are very effective. But most importantly is a total blast. So fun. I ordered two of these, and they are really fun to race. I got this 8 inch boat and also the 10 inch boat, and boy are they a blast. Easy to use, good quality, and loads of fun. Highly recommended!
