I'm not a musician. I assume this is not the best clarinet money can buy. But for my 10-year-old son who is traveling around this winter it is a wonderful clarinet. He loves it and it sounds good to him and me. And I worry a lot less than packing around a $1200 clarinet.

First , I own a music store and have been in the business for over 20 years .....This is a great beginner clarinet for a student in band ...Its not a Yamaha , or a Bundy ..But its also not $1200 ...Second ...the reeds the come with this , or any instrument for free , are not great ..Get you some Rico or Van Doren 2.0 reeds and you will make great sounds.. Don't expect a steak on a cheeseburger budget ...sounds fine and shipping from this seller was really fast !

I was very disappointed that after my daughter started band camp she now has to get a new one because the hight notes don't play right it was broken when we got it

I was surprised and very pleased by both the quality and the tone of this clarinet. I wanted a backup to practice on while my main clarinet was recorked, repadded, and generally restored, and I took a risk on this one and I'm tremendously glad I did. The construction is sturdy and visually appealing, and you get a very nice kit to go along with it, but of course for a musical instrument, the most important thing is tone, and this one delivers there in abundance. It's not just a great instrument for the price- it's a great instrument, period in my opinion. Take this with a small grain of salt- I'm just an enthusiastic amateur on clarinet. For my money, though, this is a great horn.

Excellent clarinet for beginners with everything needed to get started. Packaged very well, preventing possible damage during transit. Definitely recommend for those just starting out.

Well finished, with nice accessories in a stylish case. Quite impressive. Possibly upgrading the mouthpiece could be worthwhile. Mechanically good. Feel and sound are quite ok. Excellent for the price.

The ligature (that holds the reed) didn't work. My daughters music teacher was very unimpressed and we returned the clarinet.
