I have been framing my license plates for 42 years. It just adds a dimension of completeness or a finished look. This particular frame & company is an authority on quality. I highly recommend this product. It looks outstanding. Troy. PS. They were also kind enough to provide 4 - Aluminum Valve Stem covers as a gift. The top had a matching flag image. Who does that nowadays? :) Thank you very much.

Bought the license plate surround for my new toyota tacoma. Having served in the Army it makes me proud to fly the flag. The quality of all the items in this purchase were very good. It all EXCEEDED my expectations.One note - the license plate is not solid aluminum. It's a layered composite but the part you see is aluminum. I had to think about it for a minute because i didnt know if I should be disappointed. I attached it to my new truck and it looks awesome! I honestly believe that it will last longer than a solid aluminum one...having had one before.One note - it comes with plastic covers for the screws/bolts that you use to attach your plate...gives it a nice finished look. However, since the surround covers over part of the annual renewal sticker, you might have to take the plate off to put the new sticker on so didnt use the covers.

The description "Black Aluminum" lead me to beleive the frames are aluminum - they are not. They appear to have an aluminum veneer over some type of composite material. Second, be careful of the valve caps. The instructions say for you to unscrew them from the tire valve once a month or they could seize to the valve stem. That could be costly if you have valve stems that monitor your tire pressure. I have enough to remember each month and there is no room in my schedule for unscrewing and rescrewing valve caps. Too bad because the valve caps are nice looking but now they rest in the community dump. The frames are nice but the price is questionable - I am not sure they are worth the money.

Feels like some cheap plastic. I give it a year before it breaks. Gang flags are going in the trash.

We ended up returning this product because it covered the state name, which was important to us. While we liked the product itself and found it to be well-made and sturdy, we decided to exchange it for a design that better suits the style of our plate. It’s a nice product overall, but the design didn’t quite fit what we were looking for.

Plates are very poor quality I would definitely not buy ! Please do your research before you purchase ! Not sure what all the 5 star reviews are ! Product was nice looking and fit with no issues. The only issue we have is that somehow it is already broke. We have not hit anything or ran into anything that could have possibly cause this.
