I was issued the nylon version of this belt when I started my position. This version of the belt is lighter and more flexible than it’s nylon counterpart. It bends and moves with you and I hardly notice it’s there even with all of my gear on it. I wear this belt for 12 hours a day and it is impressive. I highly recommend getting the hook and loop belt liner to accompany it.

I've been on the job for 24 years and I recently promoted to an admin position so I'm an indoor cat now. For my everyday purposes as a watch commander, the belt is light and comfortable. If I ever had to back into the field I wouldn't hesitate in wearing this belt. I switched over from the traditional silver buckle with the belt overlap. This buckle style is so much neater looking and more convenient since I have more usable space.

I thought the 1.5†bottom belt I had would stick to this duty belt but the Velcro was designed opposite of the other brands. You have to buy the 1.5†bottom belt too

Wonderful brand and product, if your in the market for a service belt i would recomed this one. Between the price and quality not sure if there is better. Be warned, the proper size is very important. I where size 36 pants and thought large was what I needed. Wrong, it was way to big. After I folded under excess and wore it i realized my mistake. It was uncomfortable and diffucult to arrange my gear how I like. use size which only leaves 6 inches extra 2 inches at ends plus couple for size adjustment
