I needed this 18 tooth sprocket to replace my 16 tooth sprocket, because it gears my bicycle down, and makes it easier to pedal uphill and against the wind.

Broke my coaster brake somehow. When I tried to repair it lost some bearings opening it up, so I bought this. I have little experience changing out bike parts, with my only real knowledge is changing a chain and maybe tightening the breaks on a hand brake. But I was able to replace my old brake with this.Was hoping for maybe a little paper insert explaining how to put it all back together, but using intuition I figured it out. Had to do it twice because I couldn't get it flushed, but got it done nonetheless.Doesn't brake quite as quickly as my old one, but that may be user error in assembling it. Overall, a lot cheaper than buying a new bike.

I used everything inside the hub assembly to replace old hub in my kid's bicycle. Unfortunately it is very hard to find a replacement hub with exactly same number of hole/spokes in a wheel but inside mechanism is compatible which is good.

CHEAPLY MADE! POOR QUALITY!I was looking for a hub for my beach cruiser.This hub was slightly small, but with modifications to my spokes, I was able to make it fit.I tested the hub when I pulled it out of the box. It worked! Pedal forward, brake backward.I spent 2 hours re-lacing spokes and truing the wheel up.Had to grind down the tips of my spokes, approx. 1/16 for fit.Put the cog on and snap ring. Chain on and now it’s test time!After a quick spin, something inside the hub gives and it won’t spin.BEYOND FRUSTRATED WITH THIS CHEAP GARBAGE!! I WASTED MY TIME TO MAKE THIS WORK. I have contacted seller and want a full refund. It’s the LEAST they can do, since I’m back to having to find a new hub after having modified my bike.
