The story goes that Anne Marie Le Normand was a celebrated French mystic who left an extraordinary imprint on divination. Her system of discerning the past, present, and future by means of cards was celebrated amongst spiritualists, and we have reproduced the concepts here, and have arranged the game so that any person can lay the cards in proper position and proceed with a reading. Alternatively, any traditional playing card game may also be played with these cards.

Good Bicycle quality. Same size as the Bicycle Standard deck of playing cards.Glad to add it to my collection of cards, but not at all certain I will be doing readings with it anytime soon.Reason being that it seems to me to have way more than its fair share of unmitigated disaster cards. I counted 12 such cards.There are 20 cards in this deck, in my estimation, which could go good or really bad depending upon their proximity to the Querent card. 18 cards are good/hopeful. The chance of producing an unnecessarily bleak and stressful reading for the Querent seems entirely too great for me to want to read with these cards. Tarot cards are far more nuanced.Glad to have acquired these cards, but truly doubt that I will ever read with them. 5 stars for typically good Bicycle production standards.

The cards themselves are beautiful and 1000% worth it but the material choice is a little odd, they feel very high quality and have lasted a lot because they r very plastiqy which means they've held up great and the print quality is good but they are slippery and can be hard to shuffleNot enough to make you hate it but enough to notice itLove them regardless and they are very beautiful and easy to read for games

This is a very nice Bicycle quality deck of historic fortune telling cards. Not hard to use to tell fortunes, and a deck you can use for cards games too. Poker deck type deck with extra numbering.

What I Like - A very interesting deck that has a lot of history behind it. Being traced back to the beginning of the 1900’s, these fortune telling cards are a historic game. Bicycle has done a good job of making them look good and keeping a metaphysical feel to them. There’s a QR code inside on a card to direct you to the instructions.What I Don’t Like - I’d also like these to come with written instructions inside the box for those who don’t know how to scan a QR code or those without internet or a smart phone. Not a big enough deal to lose a star, just an observation.
