I purchased these 3" candles to float in clear globes for a wedding paired with a cylinder of baby's breath, seeded eucalyptus, and Queen Anne's Lace wildflowers, with an additional small votive candle in a short votive holder on teh other side of the flower vase. It was gorgeous!!!! However, since the opening of the globes were NOT all the same sized openings, I had to use a potato peeler to shave the sides down for the candles to fit inside. The result was absolutely elegant! Some did not stay lit because the water seeped into the candles as a result of too much shaving, but out of 72 water globes, only 2-3 were not successful. Just be careful as to how you trim them, if you do! These candles are a lovely, high quality product ~ and the packaging is elegant, too!

They are what you should expect from a floating candle. There not going to last for 10 hours!!! For what I wanted them for they were perfect. I just planned on replacing them once during our wedding ceremony. However they are larger than most of the other floating candles so if you plan on mixing them with others make sure there the same size. I would recommend this to anyone that needs a less expensive floating candle. ***I paid full price for this item***

Beautiful floating candles! They came perfectly intact! They don't burn weird and when they are blown out they don't smoke. I am using these for my wedding!

These candles were really well made, and of super high quality. They were well worth the price and they were a lot more beautiful in person than in the picture. The only downfall was that they were advertised as being 3" and they really aren't. They are more like 2.5" which isn't much of a difference, but I really needed ones that were 3" and a half inch difference is a big difference when you look at diameter. They didn't really float all that well either, they kept sinking. They were still really beautiful though, so it was worth the money even though they were smaller than I expected.

I was using this product for my wedding day!! The venue had a small pond and I tried too use these floating candles and also the gold ones I bought here and they didn't float at all now the return window has closed I can't at least get my money back for the ones that aren't open 🙃

I was a little hesitant to purchase after reading the reviews of not lasting but took a chance anyway. I'm glad I did, I don't know what went wrong with other people but I used 3 (1 for each centerpiece per table) and the party was from 7pm to midnight. The hall light them up at around 6:45pm before the guests arrived and they lasted the whole night with no problem. Maybe because I had water underneath them? Attached is a photo, although I didn't think to take a pic from the top of course. The vases I used were all 3.5 in diameter so they fit perfectly.
