Your cart is empty.Bohin needles are ideal for quilting, a technique associated with patchwork. They will make padding work easier for you, amongst other things. The needle does not have to be long, as the technique is not the same as with a standard stitch: the needle is pushed horizontally into the fabric with very little space between the stitches. They are generally used on 100% patchwork cotton, but can be used on all fabrics by adapting the needle number. They are usually used with a quilting yarn.

I use these needles for hand quilting and they are great for that purpose. Very sharp, and don't bend as some other brands tend to do. The eyes are elongated if one prefers round openings, but I have not had much difficulty threading them. Overall, very pleased and will continue to purchase these needles.

Bohin is the gold standard for pins and needles. These needles glide through fabric with ease and make threading less of a pain. They have just enough spring to them that they flex without getting misshapen. I stitch professionally and these needles are fast and easy on my hands. I prefer the betweens for their effectiveness and maneuverability. Betweens are shorter than sharps. These are high quality needles, worth every penny.

I ordered 3 different types of needles for an applique project I am working on; Bohin, John James big eye quilting and clover.Here's my take:Bohin is the best. Fairly easy to thread. Very sharp. Doesn't bend after being used for hours.John James next best. While it says it has a big eye, it a long narrow eye. Took a while to thread. Sharp, but didn't do as well with multiple layers of fabric. Didn't bend.Clover is impossible to thread. They seem sharp, but because I couldn't thread them, I can't speak to their sharpness or whether they bend over time.

I am so sorry, having not used the product I feel bad doing this review. But, I cannot stress enough how tiny these needles are! I cannot even comfortably hold one in by hand to sew with it.

It's hard to find high quality needles in stores these days. I have bought the usual offerings, and found them ridiculously dull, so I ordered these, and wasn't disappointed. They aren't the easiest things in the world to thread, but I'd rather have a little difficulty threading than difficulty sewing; and I've noticed that the eyes seem to be directional, so if one way doesn't seem to be working, I can turn the needle halfway around and thread with greater ease.I've also tried the John James needles, and, while I like them very much, I prefer the Bohin needles.

Searched high and lo for these French needles for YEARS. I took a chance on the Bohn "betweens-big eye." Exactly what I was looking for and made a tedious task manageable. For those whose eyesight is blurring, these can be threaded with or without eye glasses.The front of the package lists "10" which is the needle number of a between, not the volume of needles enclosed. There are 20 needles in the package. The length measures one inch precisely. If you are picky about your hand sewing needles, this is the one for you.

For hand quilting these are simply the best! Tiny enough to slide thru the quilt but still easy to thread! Don’t know how they do that!

Die Packung war vollkommen leer, obwohl mit ungeöffneter Plastikabdeckung über der Fläche wo die Nadeln sich normalerweise befinden, die 20 Nadeln fehlten komplett. Wahrscheinlich ein Fabrikationsfehler.
