Your cart is empty.Crape Myrtle is a deciduous, upright, spreading, multi-stemmed shrub. Features dark green foliage turning dull reddish-orange in fall, grayish-brown bark which exfoliates with age and terminal. Beautiful, inflorescence white, pink, red, or lavender flowers that bloom on 6 to 12 inch long panicles in mid-June and last up to 120 days. Flowers give way to round seed capsules which often persist well into winter. From the showy flowers to the superb bark and foliage, the Crape Myrtle is a favorite landscape plant throughout the South. Crape Myrtles are found as far north as Baltimore, Maryland, but they are better suited for warmer regions of the country. In the North winter injury is a problem and plants will grow much smaller. It must have full sun or powdery mildew will become a problem. Crape myrtles are a valuable landscape plant that can be used as a shrub or small tree, ranging in size from 18 inches to over 25 feet. As an asset to almost any landscape, the Crape myrtle is a very beautiful specimen shrub or tree, often used in groups under planted with a ground cover. The dark green foliage contrasts the gray to tan shades of the handsome bark. Crape Myrtle can be used as hedges, screens, or in masses. Planted in this manner, Crape Myrtle offers a grand display of color throughout the summer months.

I had an 80% rate on my first batch after soaking in water for 12-18hrs. These guys grow very slowly but that's apparently to be expected. We will see how they grow and I will update accordingly.

I bought this product. I spent money on making sure soil was perfect and growing was perfect. NOT one seed sprouted. Never again!

These seeds come well packaged with important directions. It is vital that they are soaked to help the sprouting process. Understand that these are "small" tree seeds. Not all would be 100% viable, it is just the chance you take. When soaking the seeds, the ones that float after about 8 hours should be removed. They most likely will live, but chances are low. Only use the seeds that sank to the bottom. It is vital to use seed starting pods. It is a must!! Place about two seeds in each pod, make sure to keep these moist and warm while germinating. They do take some time to germinate. Have patience in mother nature and you will be rewarded. They love direct sunlight when germinating. After some time, when they become healthy and large enough, you may then transplant them. Understand that you must keep your eye on these so that you have healthy trees in the long run. My wife has planted these in pots wanting to grow them to a good size before planting in our yard. But they are growing like vines and not trees, so we are a bit confused if we got some sorta vine and not trees.

i'm happy that my product arrived on time and as expected, the seeds looked fresh and dry i planted them as directed and they started come up sooner than the 3 weeks period ,the only cons is that a big percentage did not came up but i still hope to see them grow thanks

With 1000 seeds I was a little skeptical.4 weeks later and I am pleasantly surprised.I followed the instructions and split the germination style.group A in a moist paper towel seal and kept in a warm dark place, transfer to soil after about a week after sprouts appear, then under grow lights.group B in a tote in a warm dark location - transition to grow lights after sprouts appeared.They both worked however I had way more success with Group B the tote (that’s the photo I included)Good luck and hopefully they mature past the next two months

Very beautiful tree hard to get it to grow. I've tried 2 times and nothing. Will try once again.
