Worked perfect to lift my C5 Corvette Engine. It was supported a little uneven due to the alternator bolt being higher than the hole in the block on the other side of the engine which were the two points I supported the engine from. Still worked to support/lift the entire engine attached to my 1,320 Lb Electic Hoist. I highly recommend this if you are lifting an engine or something heavy that it would work for from above.

They are a good price for the capabilities. I use to to pick up my 120 lb dog in a harness so I can clip her nails. It's easy to set up and use. It works great for what i use it for

Could be better built but works good for how cheap it is.

Make sure to shorten the links to two at the most so you can get the lifting height to pull out the engine. I just put the bolt through the link, so it was as short as possible since Ford did not give much clearance to pull up the engine upward to disconnect from the torque converter.

I might change the chains out for something a little longer to fit engines I'm working on. I need to hook up to engine anchor points which are low and it makes it a little harder to use. Another 6-12" on the chains would be better for me.

It worked well could be a bit more robust the crank handle is pretty flimsy, however it worked

the handle to turn is too short and will hurt your fingers.
