I recently reviewed this item but couldn’t figure out how to find/edit that review.I was having problems connecting via WiFi. I have since resolved the issue. The problem was unrelated to the CB2. It is functioning well now.

Running Klipper along with Manta M8P on a custom 3D printer. Works nicely so far. I will get another one for my new printer project as well.

I used this to replace a dead creality cr-10 main board, it works prefect with Marlin firmware. No more noise with this board vs the stock board.

Great upgrade from the CB1! My wifi attena broke on my CB1 so I figured I'd try the CB2! Since the manta can't connect to my rsp pi 4b this was a great solution. It fits perfectly on the manta board, it's not the greatest price on here, it will help keep noise levels down since according to btt it doesn't need cooling, works and looks great with my hdmi5 display, and best of all it will help power my fancy chamber camera if I can ever get it to work with klipper lol. I'd highly recommend if you need a new pi but if your old CB1 is still kicking its really not worth the upgrade. This is 100% unnecessary but it works great!Edit: this is the second one that's had the wifi pin randomly fall off. It's really frustrating! I mainly use ethernet but that's beside the point. This should happen on multiple devices. Get your stuff together btt

I put this board in my original Ender 3 and started printing right away. My 3 or 4 year old Ender 3 worked great until I put it away 3 years ago. When I pulled it out of the closet recently it wouldn't print anything. It would just restart when I told it to print. So I bought this board because it works and it already has the Marlin firmware installed on it. I just wanted the printer to work again so I can print parts for my FPV drones. This board has exceeded my expectations. I never noticed how loud the Ender 3 was while printing until I installed this board. The loudest thing on my printer now is the fan for the power supply. I cannot hear it running other than the power supply fan. That's amazing to me.I did a quick bed level on the printer and started printing right away. I have printed 10 parts so far with this board and have not had a single failed print. The OEM board failed prints maybe 10% of the time. I've been printing with PLA and TPU and everything is working out great so far. The prints look great. This board is definitely worth the money. I only bought the board, so I'm using the original Ender 3 LCD screen. I will be getting the touch screen to add to my printer.

the board is plagued with problems. UART pin error trying to set up the driver motors, MCU kept disapearing and is finally gone for good. The company has no fix and has not even messaged me back. 100 or more messages online with the same issues and the company has no idea of what to do.

It's a BTT product. All the corners that could be cut were cut, as is the tradition with BTT stuff. An Orange Pi or Banana Pi is a better bang for the buck performance wise. Also, when I asked some pointed questions about the pre-baked Armbian install to Customer Support, I got hand waving and vague explanations that didn't address the issue...as is the tradition with BTT stuff. So, I considered this a waste of time and money and promptly binned it...as is the tradition with BTT stuff.

The BIGTREETECH Manta M8P V2.0 has been an excellent controller for my 3D printer. I paired it with the BIGTREETECH CB1, and together, they’ve worked flawlessly. Setup in Klipper was straightforward, and the whole system was up and running with minimal effort. The performance has been outstanding, with smooth operation and reliable results on every print. If you’re looking for a powerful, easy-to-configure controller for your 3D printer, this combo is a fantastic choice!

This board is not for the feint hearted. Be prepared to do some tinkering to get this working properly. Instructions were not great online, but I managed to hook everything up properly using a pic I took of the stock Mega Zero connections. Not sure if this is default but the board I got was already flashed with a firmware that had the heated bed enabled which my Mega Zero does not have. This required me to grab the firmware from git and flash that. Also something odd, when plugged into via USB port, the board seems to get powered on even with the switch turned off and displays "TMC Connection Error". This means that leaving this hooked up to a RPi running OctoPrint will not work. After some research, somebody on the forum came up with brilliant idea of taping up the 5V trace on the USB connector which blocks power from going to the board via USB without affecting data.Overall, the product is good but requires a bit of fudging to get working.Pros:- makes the stepper motors almost silent- the firmware is based on quite a recent version of Marlin- adds additional features that original Mega Zero doesn't have ie. BLTouch, heated bed, etcCons:- instructions and wiring diagrams are not very clear- required some taping up USB 5V connection to get it play nice with RPi w/ OctoPrint- required firmware flash out of the box to disable heated bed
