Bought these to convert the front wheel of my e-scooter (Hiboy VE1 Pro) to have a quick release so I could easily store it in the back of my car. Installation was easy. The scooter had sealed bearings, so some parts were not needed. The axle slipped in nicely. One caveat was that the scooters spacings were slightly different than a bike's so you'll need to buy some washers and mess around with the spacings to get the stock disk brakes to play nicely, but overall not too bad.Would prefer it to be ~1 mm longer, but then again the scooter is not quite standard (compared to bikes) and it is still usable. No comment on durability for now, but no problems after 2 miles on rough countryside roads. No comment on the longer rear axle since I was not planning on changing the rear wheel.

This is a very good product to convert a Mountain bike from Bolt-On standard axles to Quick Release axles. I used it for my Huffy MOUNTAIN 27.5" Rangeline bike that comes with 3/8" diameter bolts with NF threads. The front forks come standard in Steel and need accurate Quick Release bolts for the front (since the bolt rest point is not very wide). The Front Bolt in the kit was just about a millimeter too wide and was easy to file down to the perfect width. The Rear Bolt was perfect width. Not sure about the strength of the bolts but I do not plan on aggressive trail riding -- mainly will be going on paved bike trails and some gentle dirt trails. The skewers were perfect length and worked fine for me.

Recently got a new bike to replace my 30-year-old workhorse bike.Used this to replace a fixed axle with a quick-release axle on my new bike. The axle snapped in half in less than a year's use.Made it home after a long ride but was worried. My 30-year-old bike's quick-release axles are still rock solid.Do not buy!

I found this to be to spec, unfortunately my bearings are a different style. I went to remove the bearing mounts and realized that amidst the oily bearings that my fingers were being shredded to the point of bleeding, and when I went to remove the plastic cap opposite the lever, that it bent out of shape, and got stuck on the nut.I didn't ask for a refund because I used the new levers and threaded bars, using the old bearing mount and caps.

I was surprised they arrived undamaged, even the dust covers, because it had a flimsy padded envelope, nothing else, not a quick rap of bubble wrap to prevent the inevitable.Anyway, what a great little set. Not only did the work "perfectly", they also saved me further fork damage and perhaps injury.I couldn't get the front wheel to seat straight and lock down properly (and safely) after two tries I realized my forks had to be bent, and sure enough, the right fork had a slight kick back, but noticeable once you see it.So, they were easy to install and fit perfectly. I can't wait to fix my fork and get some miles on them and see how they survive. 10/10

I was recently given an indoor bike trainer. my bike only needed the right skewer to fit that stand. my SO's bike though would've needed a replacement wheel at (using VERY round numbers here) $50-100 for the upgrade. the swap wasn't too bad to do really and I rated the "easy to install" down one star based on some headache regarding the axle length. this could have been my own fault by not measuring properly. in any case, it did work. no instructions or paperwork were included and I would base this on a typical bike repair shop purchasing this for the same purpose versus.... me. the kit did work as expected with the sole issue being the axle length came up about 5MM too long. I'll need to do some creative trimming to make it proper. also, there was one more thing. the included dust shields for the bearings were preinstalled and one had a bit of a bend in it. not really a big issue for me.

Funcionó bien al principio pero se dobló, no soy una persona delgada asà que quizá funcione bien para menos de 100kg.
