For the most part, this kit is worth the money. The chain cleaner works depending on what cleaner you use for your chain. All of the additional tools work as well except for the two chain brushes.The chain brushes have two ends: one with a standard, nylon bristle cluster and one with a "U" shaped opening that has bristles on all three sides. The problem is with the size of the "U" shaped ends. The opening is very large. It's too large to be very effective in cleaning a bicycle chain. Too use it, you have to twist it which is neither very workable nor efficient in pre-cleaning the chain which is why I gave this kit a 4-star rating.All in all, you get some tools that will work but, you need to be careful (low grade plastics) and use them with deliberation and not too aggresively.

This cleaning kit is very nice, works good.If your the kind person thay takes care of there tools then this chain cleaner will do nice job and likely last long time. Clean an dry it before putting away as with any good tool.If your the person that thinks you need to pay top dollar, or have the big name brand then that's what you should do.But this a quality tool, and the brushes are very nice.

Sounds like a great idea. Though the chain cleaner sucks. The little brushes don't spin as they should and the rubber squeegy piece comes out as you spin the chain. And it is just not big enough to contain the dirt and grime that comes off a chain.I did give it 3 stars for the brushes that come with the set. Though I am being generous about that.

This is a bargain, plain and simple.This kit arrived yesterday and today I gave my mountain bike an overdue cleaning and lube. The tools in this kit made cleaning the chain, the gears, the derailleur, the tires, and just about every square inch of the bike a snap.Here's a tip: If you're going to clean the entire bike, including the chain and gears, start with the parts that have grease/lube on them. Use a good degreaser and really work the chain, gears, and derailleur to remove all old lube and accumulated dirt. Lube everything that needs new lube before starting to clean the bike frame, saddle, tires, etc.Tip #2: After cleaning anything that's greasy or oily, spray the tools you used with the same degreaser you used for the chain, let them sit for a couple of minutes, and vigorously hose them off. The tools clean easily if you hit them while they're "fresh."You're going to be pleasantly surprised at how many of the tools in this kit you'll use and how effective they are, and you're probably going to agree with me that this is a bargain at the price (I paid $15.99 for it).Easy 5-star rating.

Was cheap and made in China so I wasn't expecting much but the pieces appear to be very sturdy and good quality. Will test soon
