well as I was tightening it on the first time, it broke. I should have measured the inside depth first. because the axle came all the way trough, and pushed the threaded part right off the end. maybe if I would have left the original axle nut on, the spacing would have prevented what happened.

I have wanted to add a trailer to my bicycle for a while now but could not as there is just no way to hook one up to my bicycle. I had no idea this was a thing but there it was on Amazon so you know I had to order it.I was nervous about making any change to my bicycle as it is my primary transportation. But it took all of about five minutes to install this and most of that was removing the old nut which was a little stiff. I added this and there is plenty of room for the trailer to connect once I order one. Now I can.This appears to be precision made and did not strip going on which was a fear. It fit nice and snug on the threads and tightened up fine with not loss of alignment on my bicycle. Now all I need is to order a trailer.I highly recommend this product for its intended purpose.
