I was looking and hoping to get a full bike repair stand. Some of them can be quite pricey. It did not seem worth it to go to cheap on them. I saw this and thought I could make it work with either a wall hitch attachment I have, or have it mounted on my workbench.So this may work for some, the configuration just did not work work for me.Pros:- solid / strong pipes- solid pipe and frame clamps- adjustable in multiple directions- frame clamp is wide enough for wider (not-round) frame styleCons:- no user manual- vertical mounting (I find I would prefer a horizontal mount style)- permanent mountingProduct Packaging and Aesthetics:Heavy duty power coated metal. Rubber on frame clamp. This bike stand works, and it works well. Sure, it is not a high quality item meant for daily use, but for the shade tree bike mechanic, this is perfect.The greatest part about it is of course the price. Not having a tripod makes it cheap and cheaper to ship. This does however give you the ability to mount it where you want and how you want to. I welded a section of square tube to the bottom and stuck it into a road sign holder I had. This thing works great!!! What I would have given to have this contraption when I was in my teens.
