If you have a standard road bike with skinny tires, that's the kind of bike this is made for. I have a Specialized Ruby road bike and a Tern folding electric bike with fat 20" wheels. When something goes awry with the e-bike, I typically am not able to fix it on the fly and this toolkit doesn't change that. But the kit fits perfectly in my seat bag on the Specialized and has everything needed for repairs during a ride. The multi-tool kit is a bit wobbly and seems to have a metal plating that really rounds out the edges on the smaller tools, so I ditched the multi-tool for the set I already have which is far more precise and durable.Love the CO2 tool and the insulating coozie for the cartridge, which WILL get VERY COLD while you use it, so be sure to protect your fingers from it.I've never been inclined to patch a tire on the go, but I do like to carry two spare tubes, two CO2 cartridges, and a backup hand pump that straps to my bike frame, so if I blow both tires and one or both CO2 cartridges fizzle, I can still get home.

I do a fair amount of biking, and like most people who are into the sport that means I have multiple bikes. It's nice to have a repair kit on each, because I am lazy and moving the saddle bag/repair kits between bikes is a pain. Its also something I often forget. In my primary kit, I have some of the more expensive tools found in this kit from the name brands, and there is little question that they are nicer and of a higher quality. However, they are also significantly more expensive. In fact, just the name brand inflator I have costs as much as this entire kit (without any co2 cartridges). For the same price, this kits includes not only the inflator, but 2 cartridges, a multitool, tire levers, and a patch repair kit. You get quite a bit more for your money. Now, none of the components is quite as nice as the top name brand. However, I would categorize them as surprisingly good, other than the multitool (more on that in a bit). I tested the inflator out on my MTB and it worked great. The inflator is of my preferred style, which allows you to close and open the valve easily and in controlled fashion. This means that you can closely control how much you tire is inflated, and at what rate. It also means, if you dont use the entire cartridge - it isnt wasted. Just close it up, and put it back in the pack. The construction of the inflator seems to be very good. Its made of metal parts, with knurled knobs. The cartridges threaded in great, and it threads onto you presta valve (no schraders - as one would expect) to hold it in place while you inflate. It worked like a charm, and I was pleasantly surprised at its quality. The tire levers will work just find. They are thick enough by appearance to hold up fine over time. They include the spoke latch to allow you to use 2 to get those stubborn beads over the rim. The cartridge I tested worked as expected, and the patch kit appears it will work in a pinch (not a pinch flat though - the inflator is for that ;) ).The multi-tools is probably the least impressive. It is very basic, and while it does include a few allen wrenches, a star (torx), phillips, and flat head screw driver - thats about it. It is noticeably cheaper than my other multitools, and has less tools. The ergonomics of using it also seem poor. I would not be surprised it if fell apart or broke. The rest of the kit is great, but I would recommend a better multitool.I do wish they had included a repair kit for a tubeless tire as that is so popular and common these days. However, on the whole I would call this kits a great value, and of surprising good quality, other than the multitool.

This KONG MING CAR Bike Repair Tool Kit is just the thing to have in case of a flat or a minor breakdown while on a ride. I will be taking the CO2 inflater, one cartridge, one or two tire levers and the multi tool in my seat bag. I don't usually patch a tire when on the road. I take a spare tube along and patch the bad tube when I get home. I took one star off due to the multi tool. It looks like it will work in a pinch but I wouldn't use the 2 & 3mm heads-they aren't defined enough & could round out the screws.
