I do tow a 10,000 pound trailer and all things in the back of my pick up on a regular basis. These shocks work well whether I am doing work or just driving normally. Way better than the stock Ranchos on my 2017 GMC Sierra 2500HD.

I have a 2015 Chevy Silverado 3500HD 4WD Crew Cab truck. I haul our 11,000 lb three horse gooseneck trailer with it. After installing the 4600s my truck went from a normal 1 ton pickup ride to a jarring, can't drink a cup of coffee, meat grinder ride. The reason, I discovered after talking with Bilstein, is the two stage compression damping of the 4600 shocks. My truck rode fine with no load. As soon as I hooked up my trailer I had compression on the shocks and they were in the higher compression damping portion of their stroke. Meat grinder ride. I replaced them and was just out the money I spent on them.Don't waste your money if you use your pickup truck as a truck. If you use it as a passenger truck they work fine. I ended up with Ranchos which perform well loaded or unloaded.Really a big disappointment from what I had previously thought was a good company.

Mechanic instslled today. Opened packsging box, each shick box appeared to have been opened previously and were damaged. Shocks sermed OK. Problem arose when needed nuts for mounting studs. No new nuts with shocks, or they fell out of opened box someplace. Different thread than OEM so that cost considerable time to drive out old studs and install in new so old nuts could be utilized. No idea why boxes were opened and damaged and mounting hardware missing.Buyer beware.
