I have used all three sizes of the Miller Dowels and they are just fantastic. They make putting together a cabinet or table, etc. very easy and the finished look is very polished. I highly recommend them.

The quality of these is good. They are only made by one company, so it's nice that they are producing quality. If you have never used Miller Dowels, take the time, and research them. They are great for some things and can be incorporated into the piece with an aesthetic accent.They are said to have joined strength like screws. I used them to attach a large maple panel top to a piece, and I can honestly say it is absolutely stable and not going anywhere. They may not be the best for every situation, but they are the best for some. Check them out.

I use these for extra strength when building large plywood drawers (see picture of work-in-progress). The dowel end looks "special" vs. screw heads or nails. I've also used them on projects with solid wood (not plywood) to secure joints. Again, they add both strength and visual interest.

Not much to say, these work as advertised. I am surprised by how well they hold a joint together when pounded in. I go back to them over and over for the right project.
