I found this little hammock and wanted to get it for my friend who has a pet bird. Bird loves it!!! And it's great that you can wipe everything down so it doesn't get too dirty.Super well made and great quality. Colors are adorable and it was easy to hang it in the cage.

Pros:• Pre-assembled• 3 floor options included: 1) metal grate for pass-through of food/bathroom breaks,2) padded floor mat,3) thin wicker floor with fabric• Cute design• quality metalCons:• Walls are thin fabric with no insulation or pad• Floors aren’t fastened to the bottom and can easily be picked off by a restless bird• Gaps between the walls and the grading floorOverall, this is a nice little cage for a bird to chill in.The metal grate is a nice-quality option along with the two floor coverings.My bird will chew and pick these apart eventually. I have a house ready for him, and he constantly chooses to pick at the floor. I usually put a microfiber cloth there that I can replace once it gets torn up.But if you have a pretty mild-mannered bird, this is a great option to have these floors.You might want to try a way of fastening them down to the metal grate because they can slip off easily if the bird is a little active.I wish the walls were a little bit thicker and gave it a little bit more privacy. But it does a job of creating a little shelter and a place for them to get away too.I will enjoy this, and I give it five stars because of its transparency of what it offers and the affordable price.

This is not very snugly, it is ok, but our parrots didn't really care for it since is it just thin cloth and has gaps at the bottom of the side and base. It does not provide any warmth, and barely blocks light.

I don't usually like to buy items like these because they are always cheap quality, smaller than depicted and over-priced. This just is NOT the case for this bird bed! It's awesome and totally worth $16. It's large enough for my ringneck tangerine dove. The fabric print isn't my favorite but it is somewhat neutral and will be fine for our set up. What's so great about the functionality of this bed is that the sides don't collapse in and the bottom is super firm and sturdy. You have the option of not using the 2 floor inserts in case you have a poopy bird (droppings will easily fall through the metal grate) or it's the summer months and you don't need the added warmth for their feet. The 2 inserts are very nicely constructed and should last some time even with constant wiping and washing. There are different textures that may appeal to your bird. It's very easy to hang with the large hooks and it is definitely intended to hang in a larger/tall cage, not a shorter parakeet cage.

My bird sleeps in a "hut" every night in her cage. Since she sometimes detaches the rings from the top of the hut, I like to have a spare on hand. I love the versatility of this one since you can place different surfaces at the base--cushioned, mat, or wire mesh. I also love that there are no "fuzzy" fabrics on this, which can attract birds to chew and eventually cause intestinal blockages. The fabric is smooth and easy to wipe. The challenge I have is getting her used to a new hut! So, I expose her to it gradually so that she will eventually be comfortable enough to use it.

I got this for my 2 cockatiels and I like that one of them can definitely fit in there. I had a previous, similar one that was too small and better for a parakeet.I haven't seen them go into it yet but I'm hoping they'll give it a try.
