I just used a metal stake and pounded it into the ground with a sledgehammer and wrapped a short peice of thick rubber hose around (sliced open) it so it would fit the clamp on the mirror. It works perfectly and holds tight. The mirror itself is very flexible and very reflective just like glass but super flexible so it can withstand icy weather. Those guys complaining about it are crazy. It's worth the 60 bucks. The safety of your family members, guests, yourself, and people driving down the road is worth a lot more than that.

I live on a busy street and should have installed a traffic mirror years ago. At the time it seemed to be the cheapest price for a nearly 24" mirror. Finding a post that fits the 2" round mounting bracket was a little difficult. Most posts I found were 2 1/2". I found one that was around 1 3/4" added some extra rubber to get closer to the correct diameter. Looks good hopefully it lasts a while.

Works well as advertised. Mounting hardware fits round posts around 2inchs in diameter. Seems well made. Should last a long time

This is a very nice mirror. It is light and the plastic mirror provides a very good quality wide angle view. This makes it ideal for intersecting hallways or doors opening to a hallway. Because the mirror provides a wide angle image, objects at a distance may be smaller than expected. In other words, while an approaching car will be visible but at the same distance a bicycle may be easily missed

Mirror is ok wished there was a way to mount. On flat surface but made my own and works just fine

Our first mirror got roughed up during shipping and had two dents that we couldn’t get out. We submitted for a replacement and it got to us even faster than the original order. The second mirror was in perfect condition and looks great. They also come with mounting hardware

It was light and easy to install. It is designed to hang on a post so we had to add some extra hardware to hang it on a tree, but it provides a nice, clear view around a corner that used to be blind.

Excellent size, 24", for the end of our blind side road. Would recommend they offer a choice of square brackets or round, which came with the unit. I had to use a hammer to bend/bang flat the round brackets, and then bend them into a 90 degree angle to fit the 3x3 post where they are mounted. Fortunately they are maleable enough to do so without too much difficulty or without breaking.

So far so good, love the size and the bright orange color so it's easy to see. The only thing missing was the instructions on how to mount and put together but I already knew how fortunately.
