We bought this product for our daughter age 11, she absolutely loves it! She has the Keychain tomagotchi, so we decided to get this for her foe Christmas. She loves it! The instructions weren't too terrible to understand, it is fun, great quality for the price, easy to take anywhere with you, not super noisy which is a bonus. It is pocket sized making it the perfect stocking stuffer or overall great gift. I would say the age range should be 7-13 years old. The pets on these are adorable as well.Overall great product!!

My kids love feeding, petting, and playing with their Bitzee pets, and the variety of reactions keeps them entertained for long stretches.Another huge plus is that it doesn’t require WiFi or an app, so I don’t have to worry about screen time concerns or constant connectivity issues. I bought this for my 6 year old daughter, I knew it was a little too advanced for her but thought we could do it together. I spent time to read through the instructions and set everything up. However, after going through all the steps I realized that it was just too difficult for her to use. Would be better for older kids to use. But the idea is fun, but if it was more simplified I think a larger age range of kids could use.Overall the technology is good and works as described.

Very cool toy— not a design I’ve seen before. The “screen†has a floaty, almost holographic feel, like there’s really a little pixelated creature sitting in the box. Also I appreciate that you can collect all of the critters just playing the games. The activities are pretty standard fare but the motion and tilt controls make it more interesting, and sound is pleasant if crunchy. Only downside, rough play (or curiosity) can bend the screen and it’s not easy to bend it back into shape, but using as intended it seems pretty sturdy.

This toy is so very interesting. I bought one on sale for a 6-year-old niece’s birthday and she loved it. All of the adults (including myself) thought it was impressive as well. My other niece (4yo) saw it and asked for one for Christmas. I just finished wrapping it for her.I got them during a sale for $30 each. As of right now I feel that it was a great price. It comes with batteries included and works immediately when you take it out of the box. A small tutorial appears when you open it. The 6-year-old was able to easily follow the directions.I’ll update my review when I see how sturdy these toys are- I would emphasize to any younger children that they should treat it gently. I personally wouldn’t get one for a child under 4 as I strongly suspect that one good throw could break the toy.As of right now though I highly recommend it.

My kids enjoy the virtual pets from this device. It's pretty cool in that it flaps to create the image when opened and allows you to push down on the flip element for interacting. There is a bar in front of the flipping mechanism for sliding left or right.The pets can be fed, they poop, and you can collect multiple as you work through the game taking care of them. My kids enjoy playing with them and have unlocked all of the pets on both devices (we have regular and mythical ones). Was a bit hit so would suggest but once they accomplished the unlocking they lost interest so replay seems low.

We've bought like 3 of these for different kids. Always a big hit. They are fun and last awhile, but like any tomogatchi type thing, they do have a limited lifespan. They continue to work even if a little part goes out and unlike the aforementioned, they don't require you to follow their schedule.
