Great product. Clear instructions. Very easy to follow. Paint scratches easily if drop so be aware of that.The screws do tend to sheer if you apply too much torque. The drill bit could be a touch larger or you may need to bore out the hole a touch prior to screwing the pintail point on.

Nice reasonably priced solution to a bed extender, pretty easy to fit to my 2024 Tundra. The only issue is the quality of the screws, I had to replace three putting on the hinge thing because they stripped the screw head pretty easily. Easy enough fix, but frustrating.

So product came well wrapped, unscratched, directions are clear and precise.It is a bit finicky to put together but easy enough.Only complaint I have are for the screws that connect to the brackets then to the truck itself, you have to drill holes, no problem there, but screws provided do not work very well and strip easily, so I had to use some alternative self tapping screws instead.Happy with the product and the price, would recommend.

The tailgate pillar is only wide enough to use only two of the mounting screws. I made plates out of 3/16ths aluminum to fasten onto the pillar first then attached the pivot brackets to plates. Otherwise, the product quality is good, and it works as advertised. The mounting template wasn't helpful. I tapped the pillar for 1/4-20 stainless button heads to mount the plate and tapped the plate and pillar for 5mm-.8 stainless button heads that fit the indents in the pivot brackets perfectly.

It was simple to assemble. The paper templates were very helpful especially since my 2019 Ram did not have the typical 'dimple' marks in the tailgate frame. The most difficult was screwing in the 'self tapping' hardware. These screw were very challenging to install. I managed to get them in, bit take your time, use a lot of pressure, and turn little at a time. DO NOT USE A DRILL to install the supplied self tapping screws - they will strip. Otherwise, the gate looks great and worked really well hauling two oversized loads. The pins and rubber caps (over the pivot joints) are useful - JUST BE CAREFUL NOT TO LOSE THEM. They are small and can easily be misplaced. But yeah 4 stars because the install was a bit difficult.

not as strong as you would hope to keep heavy things on the back of a truck; my truck was stolen but I wouldn't recomment it anyway.
