No extra pockets, but this portfolio is sturdy (plastic so not super-impenetrable but good enough to protect stuff) and a great price. Lightweight too. I bought over $200 worth of watercolor paper and wanted to both protect it and be able to transport it, and this fits the bill. I want to save as much $$$ for actual art supplies--yet have something fairly sturdy and usable, and this works on all fronts. LOVE the shoulder strap.

In a pinch I needed a portfolio to cart some original illustrations around and saw this. Took a chance and wasn’t disappointed. It is sturdy - although the vinyl/plastic that it’s made of is a bit wobbly (it’s not “thinâ€), the zipper seems decent (I do push it to a limit putting a light board in there sometimes), it’s lasted me a few months now and takes a mild beating from my tossing it into the car. Ha ha....My ONLY complaint is that the little “feet†at the bottom are pretty flimsy. They’re just like rubber studs that you’d make a bracelet with and use folding prongs to adhere to the case at the bottom. One fell off within a week. (Which I don’t understand because they never hit the ground and tossing it in my car doesn’t cause any contact with that area.) BUT - I don’t depend on those little “feet†to get what I need from this portfolio. I got what I paid for and it was a great bargain. If you’re an art student/photographer on a budget this isn’t a bad buy to cart your art around in.

Great size for my large diamond painting. Straps to hold it in place are good. I just wish it was a little thicker/supportive. A thin piece of foam inside would e great. Love the handles.

This is the best case everIs so DurableBetter because it holds my light pad , Diamond Dots cases my paintings and other stuffI take it with me when I travel so I always have something to doI think the price was always right

The bag is made of plastic and can zip all around with a band to hold sketch paper and notebooks in place. There is one pocket for rulers, brushes or pencils and other small items, but move around and does not stay in place. Very difficult to keep anything organized with the exception of the sketch paper and notebooks. It is not meant to carry alot or it gets heavy and the handles have no padding. The strap is not well made and not padded. If carrying many items, it is not comfortable portfolio to carry all day.

This is an oversized case for some of my larger prints. It is made of very sturdy materials, so I am sure the prints will be protected. Yet it is very lightweight, unlike old portfolio cases.

I buy the 12"x18" targets in bulk from Amazon and I saw this used for targets in another review so I thought I'd try it out. Three months later and it's still working fine. It seems a bit flimsy but it's light weight and easy to grab and organizes my targets. I use to roll them up and put them be my range pack but it's hard to get them back to flat. With this they are always flat. Works great for me.

We decided to renovate our home and take on the task of redesigning the floor plan myself. I had to go old school with the pad of graph paper to draw things out then realized on my way to my first kitchen designing appointment that I had nothing big enough to safely transport my drawings. A file folder filled in for that first appointment until this came in. I liked that Amazon had multiple sizes so that I didn’t need to get a huge portfolio for my 12 x 18 inch pages. It’s the perfect size, it’s not fancy by any means, but it’s simple and sturdy, and keeps quite a lot of paperwork zipped away inside. It has bungees inside on one side to keep things together and a pocket on the other side (inside). I haven’t used the shoulder strap but it seems good enough. The handle is nice for carrying which is my preference. I appreciate that I don’t have to worry about my paperwork flying away when walking into places or getting rain or snow on them either. All in all it’s perfect for my needs at a great price.

Its very good. My son is using this bag for his GCSE A3 sketchbook. Keeps the sketchbook in shape. It can handle light rain. My son hadn't really use this with proper rain so can't tell if its waterproof.
