My son and I wanted some smaller incremental weights to use with our larger Olympic Bumper Weights. These weights fill that need for us! Have relatively the same look and feel as the larger bumper weights and help us to span the gap when we are in between weights. A little pricey for what you get but if you want smaller weights that resemble the bumper weights then you are going to have to pay a little more. I would buy these again!

Overall these are really good weight plates for the price and we bought two sets of each weight. The price for rubber weights is really good.]When you first get these, they are COVERED in oil and that has to be washed off. First, because it smells and second, they are very slippery which exacerbates the issue I outlined above with very little grip space. So when you receive these, take them directly to the kitchen, run hot water and apply a LOT of Dawn dishwashing soap to a scrubbing pad and go to town to remove all the oil that is coating these plates. I think they are packed with an oil on them so that they fare better while stored in a warehouse, but you don't want that in your gym. Also they are filthy when they arrive, so cleaning them really well just makes sense.Otherwise, great product.

If you’ve been stuck like I have because the standard pounds for weight plates start at 2.5lbs or 5lbs and you’re not quite there yet so you’re stuck in a plateau then buy these now. I was finally able to PR again in my OHP. This set comes packaged in a box and each plate is individually packaged in a ziplock bag. They weigh exactly 1.25lbs each, have no smell and have a rubber like feel to them. Great addition to my home gym.

These are expensive. But, that is not uncommon for vendors of weight lifting equipment. (And look at the prices of steel and rubber these days.) It gets old for every item that you buy to be $400+ from some of these companies. But, they have to turn a profit, so I get that. That said, these are filling a void. I have a cable crossover machine that it's best for the weight to be balanced on each post. Well, you can't incrementally add weight if the least you have are ten pound plates. That means you have to go up 20 pounds at a time on a post. That's pretty much unworkable. These are an answer. There may be similar at a lesser cost, but these are very high quality and, frankly, I'm not unhappy that I bought them.

Great light weights for smaller lifters, great value for the cost, quality is pro gym style, and fits my Olympic style barbell, overall great
