Used to grind paint off smooth surface and drum was blasted apart in 15 minutes, remnants all over the snow. Previously used Bauer brand and lasted 3 hours. Waste of time and money

love the grinder, but couldn't find replacement pads at the store and went to 3 different locations. luckily these from Amazon worked out great and price was the same if not cheaper than store. if you have the alot to grind recommend the metal brush.

This non-woven flap wheel began to disintegrate almost immediately. Lasting less than 15 minutes. It was throwing plastic pieces everywhere including on me. I was sanding paint off of rounded edge deck boards with very few sharp edges. I was on medium speed with no added pressure only weight of the conditioning tool itself. I had purchased 2 of these hoping they would easily finish this small deck since the original Bauer drum sanding wheel lasted 3 hours. The two cost nearly $50. I would have contacted seller but I would have to take them to nearest ups hub (50 miles round trip) to return them to seller. I am not spending any more money on these 2 items. So here is my review and I do not recommend Renotec non woven flap wheels.

Does not stand up to sheet metal use at all. Sheds grit easily on mild mill scale. Less than 10% lifespan vs harbor freight version.

perfect for stripping a car for painting. I'm using it on a 1971 GMC 1500 stepside.

Junk. Lasted maybe 15 minutes. Ordered these because Harbor Freight was out. The harbor freight ones lasted several days of use.
