After trying on many Black Diamond women's climbing shoes in various sizes for my typically 6W size feet, these lace-ups were the most comfortable and true to size. The 6.5 was too big. In comparison, the Black Diamond Momentum women's climbing shoes with two Velcro straps ran more than a half size smaller on me. A 6.5 in the Velcro style was very tight. These lace-ups are easier to adjust than the Velcro and seem like they will be better for basic climbing and bouldering.
