Fully extended, this poster-carrying case works for my 4 piece 9 foot fly fishing rod beautifully. It's not crushproof but pretty close.

The size is great for sticking in a backpack at a convention, however, the interior of the tube is not smooth, and had ridges that mirror the outside. These ridge result in scratches on any poster that runs directly against them, ane leaves marks. Not a great design.

Very weak. Can barely hold 2 rolled up posters. Smells like it was sitting in the closet of a meth house. If you want to protect your items, spend a little more money for something of way better quality.

Very thin plastic which can crush when you try to open it. It does not stay locked in the extended position. Don't waste your money on this. I got a refund.

Purchased this to be able to put some posters in checked luggage. The plastic was fairly thin, not sure how durable it would be on its own, but it traveled well in my suitcase without any damage to the posters.
