Worked perfectly for mounting my photos - no messy white glue to use, no bubbles. Took a little while to learn the right way to trim the board - you have to use repeated shallow cuts. If you get too agressive and try to make one or 2 deep cuts, the foam tends to tear and looks unsightly - other than that, it was a piece of cake to use. (Change the #11 blades frequently!!!) I will definitely buy it again.

The pristine black boards arrived in very sturdy packaging so that there were no dents or imperfections. I'd get more of these if I need them. Great product.

Received these quickly along with the white ones I ordered, but two of the black ones did not have the adhesive backing and were just plain black foam core. This is the reason for only 4 stars.Also, both the black and white ones were wrapped in plastic cellophane by color and also wrapped together. I can understand this for protection so they don’t get bent but, it was a real pain to get them all unwrapped and separated. The product that did have the adhesive worked very well but can be easily removed unless you press them down real hard. I cut them to use as lifts behind the mats for shadow box frames to keep the artwork from touching the glass.

I was able to mark it with a yellow colored pencil where I wanted to cut it, and then cut it with a sharp knife. I used glue to adhere it to the frame I wanted to secure it to, and the adhesion depended upon how well I glued it, so that was on me.This allowed me to adhere plate hangers to the back of lightweight 16x20 framed pictures to make them hangable on the wall, and I couldn't be happier to be able to do all this without going to a frame shop.I would definitely buy this item again if I needed it.

These foam board were exactly what I needed, but it was the extensive care that was show in the packing of them that I was astonished me. the packing must have been hand done and with such care to make sure they arrived in perfect condition. Thanks so much

We used this product for mounting posters. We had replaced our blades prior to cutting and this foam board will not cut cleanly without pulling foam out and ruining the entire project. Do not purchase this foam board.

All the panels were cut unevenly. I couldn't use more than half of them. On top of the delivery fees, I had to pay an additional $60.
