DON'T replace nylon strings with metal strings. I'm sure these will perform better than the metal strings that I tried before. They sound pretty good and once you get them tuned they don't stretch real bad and stay in pretty good tune. I'm no professional guitar player but they seem to work just fine for my purposes.

I ordered these for my girl friend. She's been wanting some new strings and we just can't seem to stop by a guitar store. So I said let's just order them. And within 10-15 min it was a done deal.

Tools are good and helpful for stringing, but the strings are cheap and don’t hold a tune long or well. Lesson learned - spend money for decent strings. Won’t buy this again, but grateful for the tool.

I like that it comes with the three in one tool to make things easier, +2 packs of strings. The black nylons are cool, but if you have a Rosewood or dark wood fretboard on Your classical guitar, the strings may be a little difficult to see in darker lighting settings.
