My wife passed away later this year. The church and myself put together a small funeral. I asked those that attended to please light a candle in Memory of my wife. They looked beautiful. The brightness, the burn time, the aroma. Later on I was asked where I got such beautiful smelling candle. They asked for few un used ones. They came early. I was so glad I didn't have to about them. Amazon has always come through with delivery, letting you to concentrate on what's needed of you.

These tea light candles are fantstic. They smell great. They have twice the depth of wax than other tea lights, they are poured to the top. They last longer than other tea lights, and they are well priced.

These have a great apple scent and are wonderful little tealights. I use them in spa gift baskets, and they are totally adorable and work perfectly once I put them into a self-sealing cello bag. Great buy!

It's a good thing I didn't get them for the scent because there isn't much. I got vanilla and I got cherry blossom (white and black). I also have already had some missing wicks and a wick that was way over to one side. I use two at a time to heat up wax from my old favorite candles in a vintage silver fondue pot/pan. So I was looking forward to some added scent but it wasn't there really.However, these are large/thick and burn for a long time and definitely serve their purpose well. As far as gifting, absolutely! You can do a LOT with these and they are very cost effective. Because they're larger with a good sized waxed wick they offer a good amount of light if you're looking to use these around the house. I'm very happy. I will look at the comments for scent next time. I am someone who loves the ambiance and high scent of good strong candles. I save the extra wax from the ones I like best and add them to the wax in either the pan or a candle jar that didn't burn all the way down. It saves cost on candles that way but I still go broke buying the good ones!

I live in a tiny house that gets very cold. These candles are great because I can light 3 or 4 of them and they will help warm up my house while I sleep. Don't worry, I put the candles in heavy duty holders that don't budge. The smell can be noticed, but is not overpowering to me. These truly burn for 7-8 hours and I got my first lavender set at overstock pricing. I'm going to but another set while I can at only $10.99!

I bought these because I wanted a nice aroma smell during the time they were lit I didn't get that basically I used every single one of them and had to get some other scent and apply it in a warming item and add the candle to the bottom to heat up a totally different scent. when you smell them they smell great but when they are lit there is no scent at all. they do last long so if there were a scent coming from the candle it would have been a good product to re purchase. the value for the money was decent but if your looking for a scented long lasting candle this is not it
