I want to give an honest review so others can make the best decisions on pencil choices..First I’m just a regular person who bought the full set including skin tones & new monarch set..A MUST OWN SET 🥰🥰Honest -most people will find these workable and enjoyable no matter your level of artistic skill.A must own !!!!Onto pencils....Whoever said these are soft like PRISMA premier are mistaken. ( these are soft but different in a good way)Not taking away from anyones comparison but they just are not as creamy. But they are buttery, smooth &!highly blendable they are a nice softness.So, don’t get me wrong these are GREAT but these are not in that super soft league of pencils.These fall in between Arteza, black widows and PRISMA level of softness and layering ability.I believe these are that perfect middle we strive for.BRIGHT & UNIQUE COLORS ARE AWESOME !!!These pencils do have a level of fantastic colors with rich pigment and they are a PERFECT SET OR addition to your PRISMA set or Arteza set or other wax based set.SOFTNESS/BLENDING/CORE STRENGTHThe cores are a bit harder not in how they lay down but in how they handle, sturdy, will sharpen to a nice point and you can apply more pressure and still have the buttery lay down without breaking the lead or a huge wax bloom.I do notice some minor dusting but this is expected, it’s still a pencil after all :)Blending these was easy and easily blended with my PRISMA premier set and Arteza set they play very well with each other adding POP and depth to myPictures...COST -THE BIGGEST POINT NEXT TO APPLICATIONFor around 120.00 you can get all of the tins including the skin tones - so these rank right up up there with PREMIUM PRICE but well worth it !!They do break these out in sets for affordability. So, you can buy sets as you go instead of all at once, which is a nice aspect.And each set is unique no repeat colors..🥰The tins are nice but most of us don’t use these for long term we put them in easier access containers or cases.So if I were to suggest anything it would be ship these in a pencil case that holds all 144 colors and then sell replacement color family kits in tins. A thought .Maybe add a breakdown of colors for sale such as reds/browns, blues/grays etc.... replacement tins of color families would be great..All in all I will keep these and see how they perform long term, I’m happy with the performance and softness These are right in that happy middle..

I love these, they are reasonably priced, the colors perfect, and they blend and shade well.

I thought looking at the colors in this set, it might cross over into lighter toned but no--the lightest tone is a sort of greenish grey (great for those dusty pearly highlights on dark skin.) The consistency is smoothly waxy and the blending is good. Colors range to the yellowish, so this set works for African, Indian and Asian skin tones best. The colors are simply gorgeous. If you are doing portraits, these are super choices.The light set tends to the pinks and apricot tones and greenish-greys of Caucasian and paler skin tones. So different. You'll probably want both sets if you do portraits.The pencil itself is gorgeous: a matte black coating and black wood composite body, hexagonal barrel with the color name as well as a stock number. The end cap is a fairly accurate representation of the core color.The maker Medihealth is from Australia and supplies various health products. The pencils were marketed as an aid to those who find coloring soothing and helpful to mental health. These skin tone sets are a newer addition to an ever-increasing range of colors (almost 200 shades now?) In beautiful tin boxes. A pleasure to use.

I think the quality of these pencils are excellent. I like that Medihealth listens to their customers. These are the first Black Widows I bought because I didn't like the all black pencil. I really like that they added the color to the end of the pencils. It sold me on this set(and the other skin tone set). The words are also really easy to read and they were packaged well. They all arrived well in spite of Amazon horrible packing.The pencils color very smooth. The colors are very unique. I am happy to use them for other things besides just skin tones. That said, I was able to get a light skin tone but it was difficult. They set didn't seem to have a good color to start with. I tried it a few different ways. The tone of the lightest colors just seemed a little off to me. I also had to color very softly to make them light. They also have a few colors, like carrot(bright orange), that I can't figure out why you would use that on a skin tone. I do think there are a lot of wonderful color for shading.I also think that for either light or dark skin tones, you will probably need both sets. I know I used one of the dark ones for my light skin, and I think I would want to use some of the lighter for the dark skin. I look forward to experimenting and trying to color different skin tones. I have a feeling I may need to start with one of my favorite base colors from another set and work from there but I am going to try to work with just this set for a while. Overall I am very happy. This set added some nice quality pencils in unique colors to my collection of pencils.

At first I didn’t care for the way the color came out on the page, but little by little I got used to the texture of the pencils and fell in love with the colors. Glad I own them. I use them often!

So I'm a disabled person I broke my neck im mobile but I suffer constant pain and I find solace when im coloring. I used to use prismacolors cuz they were supposed to be the best but I bought the black widow skins sets because I seen an ad they were made by somebody for disabled people he wanted them to have pro quality pencils at an affordable price for them .then I was reached out to by someone named Albert and this is the first time this has ever happened to me so I was a little surprised and he offered me the monarch set and the monarch set has arrived and I colored a picture with them and they are absolutely stunning pencils and I'm so glad that he reached out to me and I will be buying the rest as soon as I can afford to so thank you Albert for the set of pencils and to anybody who colors these pencils are absolutely amazing in every way. The black pencil casing is beautiful the colors are rich and creamy and they don't wear out real quick . I'm going to put a picture of what I used the monarchs for well it'll be the first of many I cant thank you enough medihealth and thank you Albert color on :)

De supers crayons de couleur ni trop gras ni trop secs. Semblables aux polychromos, très agréable à travailler, la mine glisse sur le papier. Les dégradés sont géniaux et se font facilement. Je suis très contente de mon achat.Par contre, juste un peu mitigée sur les couleurs utilisées pour définir les teintes de peaux... Mais pour les avoir juste essayés pour faire mon nuancier, je n'ai pas encore de combo couleurs qui me permettrait de définir pourquoi de telles couleurs se trouvent dans la boite.Si les autres crayons des autres boites de la même marque sont aussi crémeux, je les testerai sûrement car ils sont très accessibles pour la qualité qui y est représentée.

al vele recencies over gelezen op diverse fb pagina's over kleuren voor volwassenen, toen werd ik toch nieuwsgierig. Deze week de nu beschikbare serie van 5 soorten (BW spider, scorpion, cobra, skin dark en skin light) ontvangen en ik ben zeer verrast over de kwaliteit, de zachtheid van de potloden en zeker ook van de kleurafgifte in de lichte kleuren, zeker gezien de prijs. Hoewel nog niet aan de orde is het jammer dat er geen losse potloden verkrijgbaar zijn om later te vervangen. Maar gezien de prijs per set, is dat ook niet onoverkomelijk.
