Absolutely does what i need it to, which is to drain a very low point in the back yard that is capable of getting 5 inches or so of water after a lot of rain. I have it connected to a remote controlled outlet so i can run it when needed without having to go outside. It should be noted that i have the pump surrounded by a fine mesh screen to stop debris from being sucked up. No issues thus far, and a much better and faster option than a 10W fountain type pump i started with. Cant beat the price for a good pump.

I’ve used this pump for multiple applications around the property. I’m very impressed with the performance. It makes quick work of any task at hand, performs flawlessly and quietly. I would definitely buy again!

This little pump beat all my expectations! It's well designed and pumps water faster than I thought possible. This reminds me of some of the old school Black+Decker tools that I've had where they just do the job without a fuss and last a long time. This is the last utility water pump I'll ever need!

I have always used larger pumps to drain my pool, but I decided to try this one because of the Black & Decker name. This smaller one out performed the bigger ones. I am very, very pleased with it.

Glad to see Black and Decker is making Utility Pumps. Quiet quick and affordable. Used pump in basement stairwell to pump water out during heavy rains. Pump performed significantly better than other well known pumps I have used in the past. Highly recommend!!
