The blanket is warm,soft and easy to operate.It fits a twin size bed as a coverlet or under a light weight cover. Our cat likes to rest on it during the day,staying warm while he watches the birds. The price is reasonable for the function of light day warmth and warmer at night. I would like the control to be at the side of the blanket rather at the bottom or top for easier use. ..

This electric throw fits perfect over my recliner. I like that it has 4 settings Warm-Low-Med-High and shuts off automatically after 3 hours. The throw is made of an non-palliating material and is machine washable. A good value! I recommend it.

This electric blanket is very warm! The low setting is perfect. I have not needed to turn the dial up to 5 because level 2 is very warm! I have been mostly keeping it at 1.

Couldn't separate blanket from plug for washing. Had gray spots on it. I thought Black and Decker was a very good brand, not anymore. Must have been made overseas as the quality was horrible.

My immediate response is that it’s a great blanket. Huge to wrap myself in and lightweight - extra warm. Heats up rather quickly and using very little electricity at the low setting. Perfect. Thank you Black & Decker.

I had expectations of trusting in this name brand, but the overall chemical smell was overpowering. My adult son was house sitting for us and I had left it for him — and I had not opened the package. He did use it and said it worked fine; I washed it for him and most of the odor came out.

Blanket is so extremely soft (it surprised me) and has plenty of settings! I put it in between blankets and set it for 10 hours on 1. Works great!

I’ve used this item for a week since its arrival.PRO: heats fast, soft texture, pretty colorCON:- shearling side is loosely woven (1st pic), releasing tufts of white fluff EVERYWHERE (3rd pic)- fleece side is also loosely knit, snagging on anything the slightest bit sharp (2nd pic)- HUGE, permanently-attached safety tag looks awful (4th pic)- controller has one button but is very large and relatively heavy. It is only 3 feet (1 m) away from the blanket, so it either drags off the side of the chair or is in your face. (4th pic)Overall, the blanket works like a heated blanket ought, but the excessive shedding and awkwardness of controller make it a challenge.Not recommended!
