Very good looking Steam Iron made by Black & Decker. Is quite versatile allowing vertical steaming as well as conventional all with anti-drip. The cord nicely retracts. My wife is in love!

I'm having some issues with the retractable cord and the iron getting hot. We are checking all the outlets in the house to see if there is another issue. The iron is nice and light but I have to give it a fair rating because of issues with the cord.

I had ditched the traditional iron for a handheld steamer years ago but let's be honest, there are things you need an iron for.I ordered this one for the retractable cord. It works perfectly which makes it perfect for storing. The iron works great for my needs (mainly dress pants for that perfect pleat, and those stubborn cotton shirts that will wrinkle no matter how quickly you get them out of the dryer)When I ordered this iron I did catch that it had steam so I assumed it was the standard steam press but it actually works as a handheld steamer too. It is heavier than my handheld steamer so it's not something that is practical for most situations I'd use it for, but it's nice that I have the option

This black and decker iron has everything expected in an iron. It is very light weight and you can keep using it without getting tired of it. The iron itself, even though made of plastic body is very sturdy and will last a long time.It heats up in no time and has various functions. The cord is auto retractable and the iron can be stored without any mess.The iron has vertical and horizontal steaming capabilities which helps with multi purposes.It is rightly priced and definitely value for money

Been looking for ages for a lightweight iron. I have a heavy duty one well-known brand which is still great after 15 years! but too heavy. The black and decker fitted my criteria. It arrived nicely boxed, loved the look of it and was the perfect weight with the retractable cord was an add bonus. However, the steam did not work well too much or too little, the spray burst didn't work for me, the dial seemed inconsistent. Worst was it stuck to an item of clothing ruined the top. For me the stainless on this is low grade. After one use already looks worn, whereas my old iron the stainless is still pristine after years of use. This is going back, and the search continues.
