Our VitaMix is more than 25 years old; the only thing going bad to date is the blade assembly. It was an easy and economical fix. Recommend.

Worked fine for about a month then coincidentally around the time the return window closed it started leaking through the bearing. Even brand new it didn’t work anywhere close to as good as original vitamix blade. This item is GARBAGE

I'm going to be honest about my opinion here. This is a good value, but if you have a Vitamix, you likely want the best of blenders. My old used blade of over 10 years was still sharper than this one right out of the box. I could press my finger firmly along the edge of the blades with absolutely no worry about cutting myself. The drive socket portion just looks cheaper when compared to the original. That said, everything fits as it should and if you're low on the money, this is definitely cheaper. I think I'll try sharping the blades up with a file and see how it goes.

These fit perfectly on my VM0145 base and no issues with installation. They seem to last just as long as the OEM replacements.
