My blink doorbell worked great until i had to replace the batteries and I immediately broke the back tab. This version with the metal tabs just worked perfect. Love that you get an extra opener tool and ive made sure to keep it around. Ive replaced batteries since and no problems. Would buy again.

The original Blink doorbell mounting plate is a piece of crap. After about a year, it was already broken.This plate is better built and better designed. The key, which I originally found odd, ended up being a breakthrough design feature. Had my original plate had a key design, it probably wouldn't have broken.My only complaint with this replacement part is that it lacked any screws or instructions. I guess they assumed since it was a replacement that you wouldn't need these items. Still, it would have been nice.The other issue is that the key is so small and odd shaped, it would have been nice if it were on a keyring, or even designed in a way to accept a keyring, so that it could be more easily stored.

So far so good. Quick and easy changeout from original plate. Decent price. Hoping the latch tabs are more durable than the original ones.

It doesn't fit the bell it's supposed to fit. Very flimsy too. Was going to return it but I missed the 30 return period

The side tabs should have been upgraded, they are still plastic and will brake. why not fix it now. for the money it's too expensive.
