Yes, this is an expensive device but it is VERY impressive. From what I have seen so far, it only has a green laser, and has many many options to display built in. You navigate through the options via the remote control. Tip: you need to be close to the device and point right at the front of it to have the display/design change. I wonder what the next versions of this device will be able to do!

To be transparent, the first unit I ordered did not power up. I received a replacement unit that works fine.In the box you'll find the laser, remote with batteries, USB-A to MicroUSB cable, lawn spike, tripod adapter, desk tripod, allen wrench, storage bag, and manual. The laser housing is made of metal. The front has the laser projection lens. The rear has a covered MicroUSB port and hard-wired power cable. The power cable has an inline transformer with right-angle wall plugs, and is about 10ft in length.The laser is green and there are no other colors available. The remote has buttons for orientation, power, enlarge/reduce size, previous animation, next animation, pause animation, and preset timer.The projector comes with 74 preset animations. There's not way to directly choose an animation number so you will have to click through all previous animations to get the one you want. There is a previous animation button so you can go back if needed. The animations are classified by occasion, like abstract, Valentine's Day, birthday, etc. All animations are professionally made and run fairly smooth.The motor noise in the laser is noticable, but not distracting. I would never be heard in a crowded room or over a DJ/band. The USB connection is not explained. When connected to a computer, it show a folder with the animation files. They are in a .PXAnimation file format. I imagine this would allow the manufacturer to update and add animations in the future. There's nothing in the manual or on the website documenting this.Overall, I've found BlissLights products to be dependable and professionally made. The Pixxi projector seems well-built, and the animations are useful and professionally made. It could use an app interface to create custom animations, or at the very least, mimic remote operations and add animation selectability.

Even though some pics show it displays purple bats, that is not true. Everything is green, multi color options would sell better and be a better value. Disappointed in the false pictures.
