We have a 2023 Keystone Montana 5th wheel RV trailer. I broke the front hatch door latch and replaced it with this unit. It was an exact replacement... fit perfectly and looks identical to the factory original. Literally a 10 minute job from start to finish. You'll just need a phillips screw driver.

When looking for reviews I saw that it fit Keystone Montanas, but didn’t see anything about Cougars. Figured since they both are made by Keystone it would fit. It did and it was way cheaper than those Lippert latches. Perfect fit and took about 10 minutes to replace.

These are good locks. Not hard to install if you know what you are doing. The strike plates that came with the locks were not high enough for the locks to latch. Nothing wrong with them. It just depends on your cargo door frames and the rubber molding thickness. I contacted the manufacturer and spoke with Chris Carpenter. He is a great guy and he has helped me for years. He immediately emailed me pictures of different strike plates. I chose the higher ones, modified them a bit to work for my needs and they work perfect. Now I have better locking cargo doors and the doors now seal very well.

These are great locks for the price. But you better be willing to do a little bit of work and Have tools available for cutting doors. Other than that, they work fantastic. They're just a little bit bigger than the factory. Though so, you have to make the openings bigger

After 10 years of traveling back and forth to FL from VT and TN this lock on our 5th Wheel was a perfect replacement for the broken one.

The latch had a random keying. So now I have to have two keys for my storage lockers. Direct Replacement, evidently, does not mean "direct" it means "close". The latch itself is of good quality, fit was good, install was good. The pricing scheme is a rip off though. If you actually buy more than one they charge you more for multiple latches. There does not appear to be a way to order a latch with a specific key coding. Just kinda lame. Too bad, cause otherwise the product is very good.

This CARGO LATCH is a perfect match for the original from KEYSTONE on my 2019 MONTANA 3121RL. I cut the left side CARGO DOOR into 2 pieces. The biggest piece of the door is now a straight up piece with magnets to hold it up just like the right side. I cut the door so it cleared the bedroom slideout. I got tired of banging my head with the door opened half way. Took the shock strut off and cut the door to accommodate the 2nd CARGO LATCH. This should've been done from the FACTORY......its a HEAD SAVER for sure. PERFECT MATCH and the key is the very same as the original key. 5 stars on this LATCH....
