Update: Yikes!!! I ordered two pair of Bloch jazz shoes from the warehouse. Two different sizes. They looked the same to me upon arrival. My granddaughter refused to wear the first pair she tried on yesterday evening. That review is below. Today she wanted to try the other pair. They fit and she likes them. Then she proceeded to show me how the two pairs are different. The pair she likes have the Bloch logo inside the shoe. The first pair she tried on did not have the Bloch logo. The color was not quite identical and the seam lines are not the same. The toe on the unbranded shoes is gathered, not smoothly wrapped under the toe. I would include pictures if that option was still available. We received one pair that is NOT a Bloch jazz shoe. In fact, it does not have any brand name on it anywhere. The size is stamped where the logo should go inside the shoe. I have updated my review to five stars. The Blotch shoes are very nice.Original review: My granddaughter has always loved her jazz shoes. It was time to go bigger. These are a different brand than I have purchased in the past. I purchased these from the warehouse. They fit. BUT, the seam that goes around the arch and under her foot, was uncomfortable and she couldn't get them off fast enough. She informed me they are uncomfortable and she will not wear them. Perhaps they were returned to the warehouse because of a defect on the seam? Or perhaps the seam placement makes this style less comfortable. They look fine to me and seem to be the correct size. [These turned out to be another brand, not Bloch.]I have reordered jazz shoes in a different style for her to try. Unfortunately, these will be returned. The warehouse price was great. I really wanted these to work. Oh well.

These were purchased for a GD who is beginning jazz dance classes. I read through many reviews and purchased two different brands of shoes. I ordered a size 12 1/2 in this brand and the GD wears a size 13 in regular tennis shoes. These fit just a tad long but the width is perfect and they do not slip off her feet. She will hopefully be able to wear these the full year. They appear to be well made and are soft and comfortable for her.

We would recommend these to anyone wondering about if they should buy these. The quality is great, they have good movement and would recommend sizing up if you are in an inbetween.

Great product - well made, stylish and comfortable. A little difficult for my six year old to put on by herself since it is designed to fit snug to her foot.

I purchased these for my 7 year old to wear to dance class. She is an 11 in regular shoes (small feet) & these fit her perfectly. She said they were very comfortable. I'd been hesitant to buy online as the reviews seemed mixed on the fit, but we didn't have any issues. Her feet are medium width. For us, buying the same size as her regular shoe size was perfect. They seem well made, flexible, and comfortable so a win-win! We've purchased other Bloch shoes (ballet & tap) and have never had an issue. They always manage to last through her Sept-May dance season just in time for her feet to grow enough to have to buy new shoes for the recital (never fails lol).

Based on previous reviews, I bought a size 1 for my daughter who is currently wear size 13. She fits them well with a little room to grow into. She wore them to two sessions so far and she really like them. The shoes are narrow so if your children have wide feet, this may not fit.

My daughter has small, narrow feet for a kid her age (size 10 street shoe and she's about to turn 7). When she started jazz a year and a half ago, we bought her a generic pair of jazz shoes in size 9 that lasted her this whole time. But now it's obvious she's cramming her foot in them, and since jazz is quickly becoming one of her favorite classes, I decided to get her the teacher's recommended jazz shoe, which was the Bloch neo flex. The website we ordered from said to order a half size up from her street shoe size, but since she was most recently in a size 9, I went with her actual size, a 10. When we received them, she claimed that one was bigger than the other. I compared them from the bottom lining them up at the heels, and she was totally right. So I returned them to the company that sent them, and they sent us a new pair. BUT, before the other pair could get to us, my daughter made a comment, "even if both shoes are the same size, they're both still a little too big." Well that particular Bloch kids shoe doesn't come in a size smaller than a 10. So I looked to the same brand for smaller jazz shoes and found these for the same price, but slightly different color (which I wasn't expecting), and different style in terms of elastic fabric material. I called Bloch to make sure that it made sense to order these super jazz shoes in a 9.5 since the size 10 in the neo flex was a hair too big, and they said yes.We just got them today and we also just received the replacement neo flex today also. My daughter tried on the super jazz shoes and could barely squeeze her foot in them, but once they were on, they were nearly an inch too long. Ordering a smaller size would not make sense because there's no way we would be able to fit them on her. The Bloch neo flex size 10 are only about 1/4 inch too long, and much easier to put on, so she's just going to put up with that. Compared side by side, the Bloch size 10 neo flex are noticeably shorter than the Bloch size 9.5 super jazz.

Perfect fit, great quality! My daughter takes ballet, tap, and jazz and Bloch is well known for dance shoes. I do reccomend finding out if the dance school has used versions or even Kid to Kid or other thrift stores because they are a little pricy for a kid with growing feet.
