These lights are terrific, very bright with a good sensor. Highly recommend putting them close to an outlet. They DEVOUR batteries so fast and lose brightness within a week if they are battery powered only. We placed these under kitchen cabinets and they do the trick to add some extra light. Mounting was easy as well. The only thing I wish was different was how long the light stayed on after it senses motion. It does not stay on long enough, but there is a switch to flip it over to stay on too.

Installed in closet under steps and crawl space. Easy to install, love the motion detection and auto shut off. Compact but works great to illuminate those spaces.

It's a nifty light with three active levels. Unfortunately, I am only using the "permanently on" mode as I'm not getting a clear idea from the directions about the sensory functions of "night" and "motion sensor."The motion sensor seems to turn itself off after about 30 seconds. So unless you are right in front of the unit, it turns itself off while you are working on something. This means that the one I have under the counter is illuminating my workspace, but since I don't work directly under it, it leaves me in the dark.

I used this in an under-stair closet that was always "dark and scary". Now it senses that the door is opening and turns the light on automatically. But it's not so sensitive that going up or down the stairs makes it turn on. Perfect solution to the problem.

Wish I had ordered this a long time ago. It is so nice to have light in my dark closet. It was easy to install, uses batteries, and turns on and off automatically. The ease of use is wonderful.

I had bought 3 of these for a closet, and they are still working well after several years. I rarely have to change the batteries even though I open the closet doors multiple times every day. Based on that experience, I ordered 2 more.These last 2 that I ordered for an undercabinet area in the hall have failed before 2 years of use. Changing the batteries doesn't help; they work for only a few weeks and then the light either gets very dim (1 of them) or fails to turn on at all (the 2nd one). Also, although one adhered well to the bottom of the cabinet, the other one will not adhere. I even used double-sided tape which did not work either.I am not going to purchase more. Instead I'm getting 2 flameless candles which can be set with a remote timer for evenings and will automatically turn on around dusk and off at bedtime.

Opened one of the pair and placed it in my non-lit under stairs storage (Harry Potter sized space without the bulb). It’s perfect for the space. I left it on while putting my Christmas decor away and then set it to light only when it senses motion. In that circumstance it shuts off in about a minute after motion stops. Both settings are working perfectly as does the off switch. Love this item and will be getting more of them.

A really great little light for my closet. The closet has one deep end that goes back from the door about 3 feet which means when I’m reaching in there, I am blocking any light that comes from the door. I put this easy to install light back in the corner and because of the motion activation when I open the door of the closet is light turns on, and I have no more dark corner. I can see exactly what I’m reaching for. I plan to buy two more of these lights to put in my closet under the stairs and under the sink in the bathroom as an easy and bright nightlight.
