ER70S-6
ER70S6 is a versatile wire that is suitable for many carbon steel applications. This wire is able to be welded in all positions--flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead.
This wire contains higher levels of manganese and silicon than other standard grades of MIG wire to produce high quality welds when used on dirty, oily, or rusty steel.
Diameter and Size
ER70S-6 is available in .023" - .045" in 2,10,11, 33 pound spools. Also, there are multi-packs and a pallet of 72 33lb spools available.
Process
GMAW - Gas Metal Arc Welding. A shielding gas is required while using this wire.
Polarity
ER70S-6 runs on DCEP polarity.
Position
ER70S-6 can be ran in all positions - flat, vertical, horizontal, and overhead.

First time trying Blue Demon wire on my new mig machine and it came out great with zero issues. The picture is my first bead with it and this combo of wire and machine I'll be sticking with for future products!

Great stuff. Welds well with little splatter. Competes with the big names especially at the price point. I've gone through 4 rolls now and and it's very consistent in quality. I enjoyed the sticker that came with it too.

Purchased this on a whim, because the local weld shop was closed, and I ran out....always happens when you don't plan ahead....well got this and 1) got it within 18hrs(during holiday times) 2) it burns in nicely, whether it thicker 3/16" plate, or 18ga sheet metal, far far less spatter than I was getting with the Lincoln wire I had in this machine prior.
