Mounts up very well to 2020 Jeep Rubicon unlimited. Took some work to drill through front to get nuts to line up but all worked out and I've used it three times all ready with no issues.

This is the second tow bar that I have purchased from Blue OX. First was on my 2011 Jeep Liberty, this for my new 2018 Jeep Wrangler. It fit perfectly, instructions were clear...only one tiny complaint, it doesn't tuck up under the Jeep as nicely as the Liberty model. But, I think there is no alternative with the Jeep Wranglers as the front end is very different than the Jeep Liberty. I would recommend this product.

Blue Ox is a leader in toad hardware and this kit BX1139 fits the new Jeep Wrangler. I had it installed at the Jeep service center as opposed to doing it myself for less than $200. There are videos and instructions on how to do it yourself but you'd need to be pretty handy. This kit is the base plate and mounting hardware only. It does not include the wiring harness that you need to make the toad lights work, sold separately, or the toad-side round six pin receptacle you need to connect the RV to the toad, also sold separately and it is not part of the wiring harness kit. Blue Ox can give you the part numbers for everything you need to make the toad legal to tow.

This is the fifth Blue Ox base plate we have put on a toad. 4 were on Jeeps. Never a problem. Always use a contractor to do it mainly for wiring. The plate goes on pretty easy, but he can do it in a couple of hours and it is done right. Follow instructions.

This baseplate looks great on our Jeep Wrangler Rubicon. My only complaint is really more with my Jeep dealer who I had do the installation. The manufacturer says it should take around 2 hours to install but the "master mechanic" at our dealership claimed it took him over 4 hours. I watched several install videos and it didn't look that hard to me (I decided to have the shop do it as I don't have access to a lift). Bottom line is that it cost me about twice what I thought it should to get it installed.

This is the second Blue Ox Base Plate I have bought. We upgraded to a newer Jeep which required a different model. After receiving the new base plate from Amazon the package was missing some parts. I called Blue Ox support and was told they don’t deal with Amazon and i needed to contact them for any issues…..nice, when I went to Amazons help they referee me to the manufacture Blue Ox. Very disappointing to say the least. Blue Ox does make a great product and I am happy with the base plate just not happy at all with their customer service.

Well built. Requires drilling a couple half inch holes in frame, and cutting opening in frame end (2†square notch, to pass internal nuts up to bolts inside frame). Probably took 2.5 hrs. Working alone. Instructions were worthless- black and white copies with no details shown, you’ll definitely need to watch YouTube clips to complete install. Nice clean look when done.

The Base plate fit exactly as needed and very simple to install. A paper template to cut out the plastic belly pan would have been nice for a do-it-yourself kind of guy
