Pressure gauge
When the pressure begins to go beyond 1.5bar by 2-3 ticks, it's time to clean the filter media. Generally, we recommand to do a ragular bachwashing (2-3 mins) of sand at least once a week for the best filteration perfermance.
Quick drainage outlet
After the work is over, there is no need to open the tank. The waste water can be quickly drained through this drain hole. Saves much time and effort.
Six filterfingers
Upgraded filterpipe and filter-fingers. Fully penetrates into the middle of the filter media for faster and more efficient water circulation without clogging, reducing stress on the pump.
Double safe connection of hose

We bought this to replace the filter that came with an above ground Intex pool. I had to search around for the proper couplings to connect to the pool hoses, but once I got the right ones, it has performed beautifully. Unlike the original pump and filter, this one has enough power to run an automatic pool vacuum and to keep the water crystal clear. And there are no paper filters to clog up so it is effectively maintenance free.

8/5 update. Pump stopped working after a few monthsFINAL UPDATE. They sent me a new updated version that works as should. Our pool is crystal clear. I’d recommend! Customer service was great.I just got this set up. I have sand in it. I put it on filter, and plugged it in. Water comes into the filter but it does not filter it back into the pool. The filter knob is loose. I don't think it's going into "gear" so I think it's actually broke.I did message the seller and if they reply/fix the issue I will update the review.A huge downfall is no on/off switch. So ever time you want to change the filter setting you have to unplug it. I would not recommend or buy this again.UPDATE I figured out on my own that the pump is labeled wrong. When I put it on backwash that actually filtered into the pool. Now the company is saying that can’t be and each one goes through quality inspection. They actually said I better read up on what each setting does as to not short circuit the pump. I DID and already knew what each one does. They even want to send me a video. Accusing me of lying makes me more mad.I wish I could get rid of this pump2nd UPDATE - They have refunded me

It was very easy to install! Very affordable and has high flow. Water clarity is awesome! Our 12x24 pool cleared up in just a couple of days. It was completely green before switching to this system. I would highly recommend this!!

So the pros- we have the large 15 inch model. It is rated for 13,000 gallons which is exactly what I have. The pump is incredibly quiet and does a great job filtering the water. The cons - it does not have a timer or a power switch, which makes backwashing a real pain. Unplug the pump, run to pump and move dial to backwash. Run to plug, plug in. Backwash a couple minutes, unplug. Run back to pump, change to rinse. Run back to plug, plug in. Let rinse. Unplug. Run back to pump, switch to filter. Run back to plug and plug back in. It also didn’t come with any real manual showing what all the other features are and how to use them. For that, it gets 4 stars. The pump itself does a fabulous job. If you are using this pump for an above ground pool I would highly recommend using a skimmer with skimmer socks, otherwise the pre filter strainer gets clogged up super fast and will be far less effective with filtering the water.

Even though this wasn’t a very expensive pump/filter or name brand, it works extremely well. The directions were very confusing but we found a video and that helped. It is pretty quiet and seems to be working well.
