The ear insert doesn’t fully sit in place and with a little separation the whole noise canceling feature goes out the door. With that being said, the sound quality is great. I work construction and can always hear the other person and just as important they can hear me. Fantastic battery life. I can go a full 10 hour shift playing music and taking calls without having to charge it. I’ve had it a few months now and out doors very comfortably in my left ear. For whatever reason it did hurt to have it longer than an hour on my right ear. Sometimes I honestly forget I’m wearing it until I get a call. Definitely a great buy for this price.

12/20/22 - (Refurb)Replacement failed just like the "NEW" one I purchased. Buyers Beware! My advise to you if you're going to purchase this is to buy the electronic warranty. Good Luck!*update- Replacement sent to me but it was opened (guessing refurbished even though i asked for new since i payed for new) its working as intended for now but I know to be ready to purchase a new one and won't be surprised if this "Replacement " acts up again. Like I said I would chose a different company if I could do I all over again!...Pros- Fit well (at first)- Incoming sound was clear (at first)Cons- Short Life (Low sound, dropped calls, Call quality is too bad to even use it anymore)- Terrible Company warranty process! (It's my 2nd BP purchase and I've been on the phone troubleshooting, asking for a replacement or better while offering to pay the difference! I've emailed every document a company could ask for. Fill out a LONG claim form that crashed when you try to submit it. TWICE! Called to see if I can resubmit everything another way to get the process moving faster. I received an email saying if I don't hear back after 7 business days call support) *It's been about 2 months since I first reported the problem*. Be patient.- Amazon purchases are treated differently when you need warranty support. (Buy directly from them if you're looking for faster warranty service. You'll NEED it! Blue parrot is the last company I'd choose If I could do it all over again)

Despite support specified for AVRCP v1.6 (Audio/Video Remote Control Profile), the M300-XT does not provide any mechanism for even v1.0 media control methods (basic remote control commands such as play/pause/stop, etc.), let alone 1.6's browsing data and track information extensions. The M300-XT's specifications specifically cite A2DB v1.3 and AVCRCP v1.6, which implies the M300-XT would be a functional media earphone as well as a call headset. Streaming audio does work well but controlling audio, not so much. Actually, not at all. One would expect the programmable "BlueParrott Buttonâ„¢" would at least be configurable to play/pause music, but no... that would be wrong, no even with the app installed. I kept trying to skip ahead with the volume up button - standard UI/UX is long press for 2nd function. No, no such thing. I'm not sure how they can claim AVRCP support without any control affordance at all.It is disappointing too, as I find the headset very comfortable. The on-ear pad provides good sound quality and acceptable volume, even in a car with the window down, while still yielding functional stereo situational awareness and all-day comfort. The battery life is great. No complaints on audio quality either listening or speaking, it's better sounding than some media headsets and the voice quality outbound is pretty close to wired boom-mic headsets.I had hoped this would be an all-day companion for both causal audio (podcasts or music) and a conference call grade headset. It is the latter, but definitely not the former. The Plantronics Voyager 5200 specifically supports play/pause both with the call button and by the "smart sensors" and so might be worth considering for a general purpose headset.Dear BlueParrott, the physical buttons are on the headset, you at least claim to support the AVRCP protocol, so update the firmware to send play/pause on BPB press during media playback, skip forward on vol-up long press, next track on vol-up double press, skip back on vol down long press, and prev track on vol down double press.

Pros:- Mic has excellent ambient noise suppression. Great to use on the road or in busy rooms. That's the feature I like the most. It's 10X better than the ambient noise suppression from Jabra's regular wireless earbuds.- Pretty comfortable to wear.Cons:- Reliability issues. My first BlueParrot became unusable after a couple of months because the sound was down to a whisper. They did honor the warranty and sent me a new one free of charge, which I do think is admirable customer service.- The BlueParrot button is a hassle to use.- No way to wear this without looking like you are trying to sell penny stocks to unsuspecting investors Wolf-of-Wall-Street-style.[Update] My second BlueParrot, which I got on warranty, did hold up well. The max volume did decrease over time and isn't as loud as I'd like, but it's still mostly usable in a car.I'm on the fence about recommending this product. I do like it and use it a lot. Then again, I've had reliability issues with every Jabra product I've bought, including this one. It's not that they completely break down, but they start breaking down a couple of months after purchase and then last a long time as a half-usable product. The quality-price trade-off is good, though buying a pricier model from another brand might be a better long-term investment.
