Chasing parts for what kept oven from reaching temp, this was an easy and inexpensive part to replace.Received in good condition and was easily plugged in. Works great.

Not a direct replacement. It had two plastic pieces that had to be cut off then I had to tape it with heat resistant electrical tape to get it to stay together. But it works and was cheaper than ordering from whirlpool.

Please see attached pictures of the original sensor. This is what the sensor should look like. Notice the way it has a double crimp. That enables the sensor tube to be inserted into the hole in back of the stove. The sensor I bought, subject of this review HAS this double crimp, so it does indeed fit. A perfect match to the original sensor pictured. Not only did it fit, but it works too.New sensor was high quality with appropriate fiberglass thermal shielding for the wires.I write all this because the previous sensor I bought last week only had a single crimp at the end of the tube that essentially only spread out the end or flattened it, and it didn’t fit at all because it was too wide.No worries with this sensor. Its installed and my wife is happily using her oven again.By the way. I had to replace the sensor because the “broil†(upper) element stayed on during the bake cycle, burning everything!

my stove had the F3 code, this meant the oven temp sensor was bad. ordered one and they sent it. installed and it worked for a month or so. started getting F3 code again and talked to seller and they sent another one out after i bought it and they refunded the cost of the new one. installed it and oven wouldnt heat up past 275 degrees. ordered one from another company and installed it and it works great.

Our 3 year old stove/oven stopped baking or heating up the oven. Several neighbors had a similar issue zwith the builders stove choice and bought a new stove. I bought this. It fixed the issue and saved me hundreds of dollars!

Oven was over heating being charged over 900 from repair man. This 20 dollar part was all we needed!

This unit fixed our Whirlpool Gold Series induction stove's oven that seriously overheated and didn't shut off when set temperature was reached. An OEM replacement sensor would cost around 4 times what this item was priced at. It was easy to install and the connector matched so I did not have to cut or splice any wires. The oven no longer overheats and it shuts off when the set temperature has been reached. I did not check it for accuracy and I can only hope that the unit is as 'Ultra Durable' as the advertisement claims...
