Questions and Answers

Why is there still audio lag? To achieve low latency, your Bluetooth headphones or speakers must support aptX Low Latency. If they use a different codec (e.g., SBC, AAC, or standard aptX), it can result in a 70-200ms audio delay.
Can't connect? Turn off Bluetooth on nearby devices. Ensure your headphones or speakers aren’t connected to anything else while pairing with the Bomivoi Bluetooth Adapter for the first time. Keep them close during pairing. If they still won't connect, reset your headphones/speakers Bluettoth and turn the Bomivoi Bluetooth adapter back on.
Can it work on TV? Ensure your TV is equipped with 3.5mm AUDIO OUT port or RCA AUDIO OUT port. The port plugged into the TV must be an output port.
No sound from TV? Please make sure the AUX cable is firmly connected to the "Audio Out" or headphone jack on your TV, and verify that both devices are paired correctly. Then, change the TV's sound settings from "TV Speaker" to "Audio Out."
Not working with Sony products Due to differences in audio codec formats, this product is incompatible with Sony products.
Is there static noise? The reason for the static noise is that the AUX/RCA cable is only connected to the product and not to a device (speakers or TV) on the other end. Make sure devices appear to be connected on both ends. Turn off any interfering devices around you.
Dual link pair audio format When using Dual Link mode (connecting two headphones at the same time), the audio format will be restricted to SBC only.
Not suitable for live music. We don't suggest using it with musical instruments. Please use a specialized adapter for instruments like guitars or pianos.
Power Supply It needs to be pluged in. It doesn't include the adapter.

Using as a bluetooth transmitter this device is Flawlessly broadcasting to a bluetooth receiver without loss of volume, free of distortion, static or other annoyances through 4 walls approximately 90 feet away hurdling 3 other active bluetooth signals as well! ...AMAZING! I thought for sure the other operating bluetooth signals between this unit and the receiver were going to interfere with this unit. Very surprised and satisfied with the results!I've tried other devices but they seemed to suffer from dropouts. This is the only device I've found to provide satisfactory stereo reproduction on call 24/7/365 through my home without the shortcomings of other bluetooth transmitters. I have yet to have a need for the receiver portion of this amazing bi-directional unit but I can tell you that if it performs as flawlessly as the transmissions I'll be a very happy camper! I highly recommend this amazing device! Setup couldn't be simpler, very straight forward. Excellent instruction book along with cables was included.

Took me a few tries to get connected to my headphones, since I'm not real experienced with blue-tooth and all the quirks. Once I understood everything, it now goes pretty seamlessly. The equipment works as described. Sound quality is quite good on quality headphones...deep base full fidelity. There is some slight ground noise i assume coming from a ground loop using USB power source from a computer. Separate supply is said to possibly cure the issue. Not really that noticeable once you have sound. There is very small amount of latency (typical with standard codecs)... my headphones do not support LL (low latency). Not likely most people will notice or care.. it's minimal. Range was great.. I had signal everywhere in my house. If you let it go to sleep (after idle for about 10-15 min with headphones off), it does require you to re-initialize the connection. I found you can simply push the play button on top to wake it up, or flip the RX/TX switch (on side), which re-powers it. This will need to be done each time (not sure if this is typical and could be a convenience issue) Unit is small and feels cheap.. but fair enough considering what I paid for it. Decent unit for the price.. I'll probably buy another one.

I was needing a Bluetooth transmitter for my vinyl record to my Receiver which has Bluetooth. The distance was about 25ft. I tried a different Bluetooth transmitter but it kept breaking up and had a terrible connection, it made it unlistenable. So I searched and found this product. It’s exactly what I needed. Works perfectly, and was very easy to setup with my receiver. Now it automatically connects to it every time I need it to. Audio quality is surprisingly very good. Don’t have a single bad thing to say about it.

Originally wanted to use this to connect my TV to earbuds, and it worked well - easy set-up, good connectivity, and pretty straightforward. Then I discovered my TV already has Bluetooth, so I flipped the switch from transmit to receive and now use it to play music from my iPhone thru my old stereo speakers. Same result as before, and I’m very pleased with the results. I highly recommend considering this one if you’re looking to add Bluetooth connectivity.

I bought three of these units with the idea that one would be the transmitter and the other two would be the receivers. I wanted to connect audio stereo receivers in different parts of the house. One of the units would not stay powered on in receive mode. I would plug it in, it would say on and the light would flash for maybe 30 seconds then it would power off. I was never able to connect to it from my phone.I got one of the units to work as transmitter and connect to the other one as a receiver. However, the connect was so poor that I couldn't use it: the sound kept cutting in and out every few seconds. This was with the two units less than 30 feet apart. Then the one I had set up as receiver spontaneously turned itself off and I had to unplug and replug it to get it to connect again.I would not recommend these to anybody. I don't know who these people are that gave this five star reviews but none of them worked for me in anything like a usable fashion.

Great gadget, which not only transmits but receives wireless signals to a variety of devices. Definitely makes things easier. Currently using to connect my turntable to my wireless speaker.

Decent as a Transmitter. Paired easily. Keeps the pairing after power off. Comes with cables for each connection (nice). Only issue is that it turns off automatically, and there's no on/off switch. This is for my elderly mom and plug/unplug would be a bit too much. I wouldn't want to have to unplug/plug to start it everytime. I could get her to do an on/off switch.

This little thing works great. Needed to hook up my Dad's Bluetooth headphones to his older smart TV. The TV doesn't have Bluetooth capability so after some research, I decided to try this transmitter/receiver based on the food reviews I saw.The product is easy to set up and it paired easily with the cheap headphones that Dad likes. Overall a good product. I would recommend it.
