Bought this for a new computer that for some dumb reason doesn't have bluetooth. I plugged it into the Windows 11 machine and it worked right away! Not much else to say about it. It was inexpensive and comparable to similar items. Overall, recommend!UPDATE: After using this for 6 months, it is starting to randomly drop the bluetooth signal, even though I am no more than 3 feet from the adapter. This has happened on several headsets I connect to. For that, I've dropped it a star.

Mom has an older, monster laptop and loves to listen to youtube, stream vids, etc at mega volume. Old laptop does NOT have bluetooth so no way to connect to her lovely, state of the art bluetooth headset OR hearing aids. Enter this little device!NOW there is blessed quiet when she is blasting her favorites on her old faithful laptop! No dropped signal, no interruptions, unless caused by the laptop/wifi itself.What a game changer!

I've had no issues with this product, which is about the best you can ask for from a cheap Bluetooth dongle. It's plug-and-play with no drivers necessary, and I was able to connect it to my Bluetooth headphones on the first try. I also tested it with a PS5 controller and similarly had no issues there either. The one obvious downside of a Bluetooth adapter of this size is the range, it's really not great and is only worsened if you plug this in to the back of a PC case. It's simply an inherent fault with these cheap, tiny dongles though, and I won't deduct any stars for it.

This is a great Bluetooth adapter for gaming. I've tried several other 5.3 and 5.4 Bluetooth adapters and all of them had severe latency problems. I'm happy to report that this adapter passes the latency test with flying colors!To test the adapter, I used a PS5 controller running under DS4Windows. With DS4Windows you can get a very accurate latency reading that will let you know how well your Bluetooth adapter is performing. The reading I got with my particular computer setup was between 1-2ms which is a tie with the next best Bluetooth adapter I've ever tested on this system.This Bluetooth adapter will work on Windows 7, 10 and 11, and unless you need to use it on Windows 7, it will work out of the box. If you need the Windows 7 driver, make sure you don't accidentally throw away the instruction sheet because it has a DropBox URL that you will need to download the driver. You will also likely need a magnifying glass to actually read the instruction sheet.It should be noted the particular Bluetooth adapter I got was extremely difficult to plug and unplug, almost to the point that I was afraid I was going to damage my USB port. It's for this reason that I removed 1 star from my rating. It's possible I got a defective unit, but even if that is the case, it doesn't speak well as to the quality control this company employs.Also don't forget, if your computer has built in Bluetooth, you must disable it before using this Bluetooth Adapter. With Bluetooth, you can only have one Bluetooth device be active on a computer at any given time. I believe this is why another reviewer was not able to use this adapter.Overall I would say this is a recommended buy if you are a gamer or care about latency at all.
