I, for one, live with an absolute maniac who knows not what a kennel can do for his country and most certainly is not going to comply with the likes of confinement.Separation anxiety has his bottom front teeth wearing down to nubs as he will sit and drag his teeth on the door for hours on end if you leave to do things like work to support him. Metal doors, while offering a bit of variety in the flavor department, meet the same fate as this miscreant attempts to eat his way out of the house and wait patiently on the front porch for your return.After jumping through a plate glass window like Rin TinTin and consuming the bottoms of several doors I was at a loss, as I am renting, and this ungrateful heathen will absolutely be the cause of my lease being cancelled and our subsequent well-deserved homelessness unless I find a way to defend the abode from his consistent violence toward any and all points of exit.These saved the day.They are perfect to place along the door edge beneath the doorknob where the door is at peak deliciousness and prevent damage from scraping toofies and screaming slobbery chaos. They also work well along the bottom as a kick plate and double sided tape is extremely effective in placing them if you aren't wanting to use the screws.For me, they didn't solve all of my problems, but they solved the one that I needed them to and that's pretty tight if you ask me.

I am totally shocked at how good this item is especially for the cost! Two push plates are at the cost of these 15 plates... This is AWESOME!!!

You will read that plates are accompanied with "matching"' screws, assuming the pictured shiny stainless . No, you gonna get the cheapest zinc electroplated screws. At this time I feel cheated, doesn't matter is it dealbreaker or not.

Great quality and durability. Used it for the bottom of the doorframe to stop the dog leash from damaging the edges.

They have a strange faint striped pattern on them, and are not 16" long as described. I was trying to match one already on a door so it being shorter is a problem. I'm going to have to source something different now. If your installing one alone or two together on a set of doors then you should be fine as long as your OK with the finish.

I was planning on using these on a wall in my kitchen to use with magnets. Nope. Better used as due push it kick plates.I did not use them so I can't review the quality for which they were intended. But learned that not all stainless steel works with with magnets!

Surface is relatively rough having many grinding marks and each plate has a different surface condition caused by poor hand polishing without quality control. Not recommended!

Grinder marks, holes all drilled in different places et. Just a bad product I sent back without hesitation.
